Tip #2: Relate and communicate to your readers!

I think its super important as you write any story (no matter what genre or style) to communicate, to relate, with those reading and supporting your story. Some of the best ways is to post messages to followers on Wattpad about your stories, asking questions, their opinions, updating them on the latest news in your Wattpad activity and books, and having author notes at the beginning and/or end of each chapter or part of your story. This is essential, because every reader, in addition to getting to know and love a story itself, they also enjoy knowing at least a little bit about the author herself/his-self. So include author notes in your stories, letting your readers know when the next update may be, asking questions for them to answer in the comments, or generally engaging your readers! People like to be "involved" in a story or thing going on, and having author notes full of extra notes to add to the chapters and questions to those reading, really help to make a story more attractive, because you as an author becomes more personal and the readers get to know you much better.
