Tip #17- Entertain an Idea
So every writer, at some point in their lives, must have gone through a phase where they lost all inspiration to write something. What I mean to say is, they were at a complete loss of what to write exactly. A writer's block if you would.
I happen to speak from experience. There are times where I sit down and try to write something but I continue to stare at a blank paper because nothing comes to mind. I can't think of anything to write and I grow frustrated because of it. If you are in the same boat, if you have no idea what to write about, you may want to continue reading this. It just may help.
As hard as it may seem, try to entertain some ideas in your mind. That's the first thing you may want to try. If you are stuck, try toying with some random ideas and entertain them in your head. Don't try only one though. Do multiple so you can see which idea sticks out to you most. Also, if you read my last tip, try listening to music to help entertain ideas. For me personally, it helps. It gives me a feel of the mood and it helps me create scenarios in my head to match. So if you are ever stuck with your writing, first try to entertain an idea in your mind and then try going to music to help boost that up.
