Hey again guys. Moni and Ronnie here. We wrote a shared tip today. Hopefully this is helpful! Enjoy!

Tip #2: BE PERSISTENT

Being persistent is a very important part of writing. If you are not persistent, you will slowly stop writing all together and that would suck because you would also loose interest. Updating frequently as a Wattpad user is helpful to your readers and you as well. When you have readers, they help keep you persistent in writing. That's how it is with us.

Although we all have busy lives, updating perhaps more than once a month (maybe update once a week) will be great, as your readers won't be required to wait forever for a new chapter or part in your story/book. Perhaps you can set up a weekly or monthly schedule for yourself and the books you have on Wattpad. Updating your novel every Tuesday afternoon or something like that would be beneficial for you to stay on track. Also, your readers will enjoy the stability of a consistent author. That's what we ourselves are trying to accomplish.

Another way of being persistent as a good writer is to keep writing and never give up on your story, even if the reads and votes seem to be dwindling. A good writer continues, even when things get hard and there is little encouragement to keep going in the story or book you are writing. Me, Moni, can speak from experience. There was a point in time when I stopped writing my book for a while just because I wasn't persistent enough. However, sooner or later, if you truly love the story you have, and work your best at it, it will be recognized. That's what I noticed and I'm sure that Ronnie did as well. So keep going, even when you don't have a lot of support at the moment for it perhaps.

Again, being persistent in your writing will help you tremendously. Sure it may seem like it's just you, but over time, you will realize that people have grown to love your works and it will make you feel proud and successful. It will make you say, "It was worth the struggle and time." So remember to always be persistent when you write.
