Tip #15- Moody
Okay, so like a girl, writers have mood swings (or is just us two?). (A/N: Bring up girls because we are more prone to these mood swings ^^') Lately, both Ronnie and I have been so unmotivated and not in the mood to write anything for this book. Mostly me (Moni) though (I think). I mean, on my main page, I haven't updated my main story in almost a month!! But I am trying to get back to writing (and finally update that book!!). I just decided to take a small break and gather myself again. (A/N: This is our actual reason for not updating and the fact we didn't really have anything else to share. We update according to what we experience.)
It's not easy to write, especially all the time. Yes you may still have ideas going through your mind, but you have to be in the mood to write and actually complete something read-worthy. It's not good to write when you are feeling moody. If you do, you're not going to be happy with the outcome. It'll be like a chore and if you remember from the tip have fun, writing is supposed to be a hobby, a joy to you. So when you have your writing mood swings, try to take a breather. Take a break, collect yourself, and try to be active after a few days. If you stop completely, you won't really want to begin writing again.
Overall, it's okay if you're moody, because no one can stick to something for a super long time. You just have to take a break and then slowly come back. As John Green says in his book The Fault in Our Stars, "Slowly and then all at once."
