Tip #19- Express Yourself
Most people express themselves through different things- be it through their actions, their looks, music, etc. The way you can also express yourself could be through your writing.
For example, if you're feeling downcast or upset or ecstatic or on cloud-nine, you can easily write it down because when you write something in the moment, it tends to have more emotion and power than after the emotion vanishes...I know this because I personally experienced it before (even now I still am).
We don't necessarily have to always express ourselves in our writings. Some things are personal, I know, but sometimes it's good to add just a bit about your current feelings in your works so maybe others who stumble across your book and read it can feel your emotions as much as you did. And it can also let out those feelings you keep bottled up inside that finally need to be released.
So in some of your writings, you may want to express yourself so you can add more power to what you want to portray and also keep yourself from exploding like an over-pressured coke bottle :P
