Chapter Fifty Two

--Lucien POV--
"Is there anything on Kali yet?" Emmett complained for about the tenth time in four hours, Mira shook her head again focusing on her game of Candy Crush on her phone.

"This stuff takes time Emmett, I dare you to ask Kali how he felt if you want to hear it first hand" Mira smirked growling at the banner declaring her defeat once again on the same level for about the fifteenth time

"No thank you" He shook his head quickly tucking it under my chin where I was sat against the headboard of the bed. The door to the room flew open and a panting Juvia jogged into the room.

"Tell me they're here" Both Mira and Emmett asked eagerly, Juvia just grinned widely nodding vigorously.

"Kali is in a fair amount of pain but both he and Baby Boy are doing okay, Eren Oliver Hart they called him. God he's just adorable"

"Can we go see him or is that not wise?" Emmett asked cautiously waiting for rejection.

"Actually, He was asking about you Emmett. I think it would put his mind at ease if you go see him." Juvia nodded and he was out of the door in under a minute

"We gotta buy him some flowers, maybe a teddy for the little tyke while we're there" He wandering along the halls quickly waving to any passing nurse or doctor that were mortified at the fact he was even acknowledging them.

"He'll make an amazing ruler Lucien, you'll both make even better parents. I'm glad for the two of you" Juvia smiled patting my shoulder gently. By the time we made it the gift store Emmett was buried among the stuffed animal displays.

"We apologise for him, he's still getting used to being a celebrity after being a commoner for so long" Juvia said to the clerk who was standing nearby.

"That's not very nice. Here, these are cute" He picked up a stuffed raccoon from the pile with eyes the size of ping pong balls and a bouquet of Daisies and Tulips.

"Thank you for putting up with him, have a good day" I handed off a few bills to the clerk and discreetly dragged him from the store "So much for keeping hidden" I scolded nudging him up the hallway towards the maternity wing.

"Sorry, but's not like it was going to be kept quiet anyway" He shrugged peering up at the names on the doors until he found Kali's.

"Unfortunately he is right, My guess is that they will want you two to publically announce when you leave here" Juvia turned to me as he went inside.

"We wouldn't want to overshadow Kali's special day though"

"Very true, we'll just let it be for now" She smiled holding open the door and letting me inside.

"Well I certainly do feel special now that Satan is in my hospital room" Kali grinned tiredly looking over at Jovia who had dozed off in the couch next to the window "He's been awake since early this morning, don't blame him"

"Well you look good Kali, We brought some flowers and a raccoon for the little guy" Emmett gently sat the flowers into the nearby vase and laid the toy down against it.

"Thank you so much, I'm sure he'll love it. You can hold him if you like" Kali gently shifted the tight bundle of blankets around the sleeping newborn in his arms.

"Are you sure? I might drop him" He hesitated sitting down on the edge of the bed.

"You're fine Emmett" Kali rolled his eyes carefully transfering the tiny baby into Emmett's arms "There ya go, he thinks you're great. Look at him" He chuckled nodding to the deep green-blue eyes staring up at him intently grasping his hands at Emmett's fingers.
