I made it to Luke's house and rang the doorbell. Hanna answered the door. "Aria!!!!" She squealed and hugged my legs. I picked her up and balanced her on my waist. She hugged my neck. "Hey little one." I greeted with a warm smile. Her dirty blonde curls were in her hair. I pushed them to the side and set her down. "Where's Maria?" I asked. "In the kitchen making pizza with Luke!" She chirped. I smiled at that thought. Hanna took my hand and pulled me into the kitchen.

I walked into the kitchen and found a very dirty Luke. Luke was covered in flour from head to toe. The floor was a mess and Maria had flour in her hair. "What happened?" I asked in shock. Maria giggled and said "Luke was being silly. He put some flour on our head. So Hanna and I threw all of the flour in the bowl at him."

"What!? You and Hanna started it!" Luke exclaimed. I bit back a laugh. I looked at Hanna who was also a mess. "Okay you three go clean up. I'll clean up down here and we can make a new pizza." I laughed. Luke gave a little playful pout and then ran upstairs to clean up. I wipe down the counter tops and cleaned the floor.

When the three finished cleaning themselves, we made the pizza and popped it into the oven. "Okay when this timer goes off I want you to call me or Luke." I said as I set the timer. "Okay!" Maria flashed me a toothy smile and continued coloring with Hanna. I walked into the living room and plopped down onto the couch next to Luke. I exhaled loudly. Luke laughed then said, "So... I'm leaving for tour in three days. Going to England." He stated. "Oh." Was all I could reply. I could feel my heart in my throat. I needed to tell him that I liked him more than a brother, before he leaves and possibly finds someone new. "Luke, I-" I was cut off by my phone. I swore under my breath and answered.

"Aria where are you? I thought you were home?" It was Kenneth. "Crap." I mouthed to Luke. He gave me a puzzled look and I mouth "Kenneth." Luke nodded. "Oh hi. I thought I would just take Maria out to play with Luke's niece, Hanna. They were talking about a play date so Maria and I went to Luke's house." I explained. So it wasn't all true but most of it was. "Alright. Well, if Maria's having fun there, just come home when you're ready. I'm going back to work around 5. Melissa should be home a little after that." Kenneth said. "Okay. See you at home." I said and hung up.

"So what did you want to tell me?" Luke said after a few moments of silence. I looked into his blue eyes. I opened my mouth to speak but then looked down and gave a weak laugh. "Nothing. Just that I was gonna miss you." I lied. "I'm gonna miss you too." Luke gave me a big smile and pulled me into a hug. "Aria! Like! The timer went off!" Hanna shouted. I broke away from Luke and walked into the kitchen.

Luke's POV:

Aria was silent while we ate our pizza. I did most of the talking, trying to cheer her up and make her laugh but she gave me fake laughs and smiles. Something was wrong but I knew I shouldn't ask right now.

When Hanna and Maria finished eating, Aria and I stood at the sink. Aria was washing the dishes while I was drying and putting them away. When I turned around Aria splashed some water and soap on me. "What the." I screamed. Aria was laughing so hard that tears came out. "Oh I see." I smirked and took some soap and water then flung it at her. This war came on for a while until we were soaked.

"How am I gonna explain this to Melissa?" Aria laughed. "You're problem. You started it." I replied. We stood there laughing until me phone rang. I answered it and stepped into the living room while Aria finished up the rest of the dishes.

Aria's POV:

After I finished Luke walked back in. "Who was it?" I asked. "Jackie." He answered. I didn't say anything else.

Jackie and Luke became friends in the 6th grade and over the years they bonded and became good friends. Jackie and I didn't really like each other. In fact, we hated each other. She copied everything I did. And the worst part, we shared the same best friend. But we tried to be nice to each other around Luke, for Luke's sake. I could tell she liked Luke and Luke probably felt the same for her too. Why do I care so much?

"Jackie's coming over." Luke said. "Oh. Great." I said flatly but putting on a fake smile. Luke returned the smile and we wiped down the counter tops.

Jackie rang the doorbell by the time we finished popping the popcorn for the movie. Luke came downstairs wearing fresh clothes, and opened the door. "Luke!" Jackie squeaked. "Hey." Luke greeted and pulled her into a hug. I walked into the living room while shoving popcorn into my mouth to keep myself from commenting about her low cut crop top and booty shorts. If her long brown hair was down it would cover the parts that shouldn't be shown, but it was up in a ponytail. I plopped down on to the recliner because I had no desire to share the couch with her. "Hi Aria!" Jackie said joyfully. I gave her a semi smile and swallowed the rest of the popcorn in my mouth. I quickly thought of an idea to make her jealous.

"Hey Luke, are my jeans still her from last time?" I asked innocently. "Yeah they're in my closet, in the corner." He answered. "Okay, thanks!" I saw hatred in Jackie's eyes. I walked upstairs with spring in each step. "Hey Aria!" Luke called after me. I turned to face him. "You can borrow one of my old shirts, you know where those are right?" He said. "Yeah I know. Thanks!" I have him a big smile, knowing Jackie was really jealous and wanted to rip my head off right now. Oh well.
