~ three months later ~

Aria's POV:

It's October now and it's starting to get cold. I turned 17 back in September, and Renna and Kiyah came back to celebrate with me. It was nice having them back, even though we ooVooed every night when Luke wasn't around, doing who knows what with Jackie. Despite their fight at the airport, Jackie managed to sneak back into Luke's heart. But I really don't care at this point. Kiyah, Renna, and I went to an amusement park that Renna's uncle owned, so we got in for free. I actually had a great time, being carefree and all.

School wasn't bad anymore, but it was quiet, considering that Kiyah, Renna, Calum, and Michael weren't there. I hung around with some people that considered me a friend but I kept to myself mostly. At least I had my driver's license.

I laid on my bed, playing music from my laptop and doing my homework. Then my music stopped and found that Renna was calling me on ooVoo. I hit answer and saw her and Ash's face. "Hey!" I sat up. "Hey Aria how's it going?" Ashton asked. "Good. Are you guys on the plane?" I asked. "Yes, we're half way there!" Renna said. "Finally! Schools been boring without you guys!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands in the air. "Wait let me add Kiyah." Renna added Kiyah and I saw her and Michael sitting together. "Hey it's Kiyael." I smiled at them. They waved at me. "Where's Calum?" I wondered. "Sitting with Luke. Calum's taking interest in Renna's cousin." Kiyah smirked. "Shut up! It's weird but I find that they'd be cute at the same time!" Renna laughed. "Wait! Renna's cousin Natalie? The one that used to hang out with us before she moved to another school?" I raised an eyebrow. "Yup. That's the one!" Ashton said. Renna rolled her eyes. "When will you guys be here?" I asked. "We'll be there tonight at 12am." Michael informed me. "Are you gonna come pick us up?" Kiyah asked. "Well. I have a lot of homework." I softly said, glancing at the stack of sheets and textbooks that were spread around me. "Come on! We already told out parents you were dropping us off home!" Renna said. "I'll be there. This isn't due until three weeks from now so I'm in." I laughed.

"Is that Aria?" I heard a familiar voice ask.

"Luke's coming." Kiyah said. "I should go now." I mumbled. "Why won't you talk to him?" Michael asked. "Luke probably feels the same way for you. You and Luke could be as great as Reshton!" Ashton said. "Excuse you. Kiyael is the best." Michael argued. Ashton opened his mouth to speak but I interrupted them, "Guys. I'm going now." I hung up and turned my music up.

I dressed into my oversized high school hoodie and threw on my black skinny jeans. I put my gray beanie on and jumped into my black vans. I walked downstairs and grabbed my keys.

"Ken, Mel. I'm going to pick up Kiyah and Renna." I called out to them. "Wait what?" Melissa asked before I even made it an inch our the door. "It's late." Mel said. "No one else will be picking them up." I pointed out. "Won't Luke be there?" Kenneth asked without looking away from the tv. I just realized he would. I should've thought this through. "I won't talk to him. Just going to pick up my friends." I promised. "But-" Kenneth started say but Melissa said, "Be home before 3. And lock the doors when you come home." I shot Melissa a thankful smile and walked out. I got into my car and drove to the airport.

I sat in the seats of the airport. Luke's family greeted me with hugs when I got there. I smiled at the rest of the boys' families.

'Am I gonna face Luke? How would I? Are we no longer friends? Should I keep my distance?' A million questions raced through my head. Then I saw figures slowly exit the gates. I first saw Calum. I missed that idiot. Then Kiyah and Michael walked out hand in hand. Then Ashton and Renna came out, arms linked together. Then Luke. Same familiar blue eyes, beautiful blonde quiff, and stunning smile. My heart skipped a beat, then I saw Jackie scurry towards Luke.

"Aria!" Calum hugged me tightly. "You've changed so much!" He said in shocked voice. "What's up with the blonde tips?" I laughed at him how was staring at my hair. "I decided to change my look a bit. It's not bad is it?" I said. "No it's great." He hugged me once more and spun my around. "Cal I can't breathe." I gasped for air. "Sorry." Calum smiled sheepishly and put my down.

Kiyah and Renna crashed into me pulling me into a group hug. "On my gosh I've missed you so much guys!" I felt a tear slide down. Wow I'm weird. "We have so much to tell you!" Kiyah said. "Tell me in the car." I laughed. Then I felt an arm put around my shoulder, "Hey you." It was Ashton. "Hey Ash." Hugging him. "So where's my hug?" Michael asked with a pout. I hugged him as well and they went off to their families.

I could feel a pair of eyes on me. I secretly turned around and saw Jackie staring. Then I realized Luke was sneaking glances as well.

"Go talk to him." Kiyah pushed me. I shook my head, "Lets just go."

Renna rolled her eyes and they ran off to get their stuff. Then Ashton kissed Renna and let her go. Michael picked Kiyah up and held her. "Let's go." Kiyah said and we left before Luke got a chance to talk to me.

Kiyah and Renna talked about the things they saw everywhere. "Must've been fun." I said, imagining what they would've been like and remembering to travel there when I was grown up. We had a fun talk during the trip.

"Hey are you going to 5SOS' welcome back party?" Renna asked. "Nah." I replied. "You have to go!" Kiyah said. "Why should I?" I asked. "For us! And for Calum." Renna exclaimed. "No thanks." I said. "You don't even have to talk to Luke." Kiyah pointed out. I rolled my eyes and gave in. "I know we always get you." Renna smirked. "Whatever." I laughed.

I finally dropped both of them home and came home myself. I made sure to close the door quietly and made my way to my room. I laid in my bed, not bothering to change into some pjs. I stayed up thinking about Luke again. Damn boy.
