After a nice hot shower. Calum lent me Natalie's old shorts from the last time she slept over, and his shirt that was a bit too big for me.
I sat on the bed in the spare room that he always saved for me whenever I needed a place to get away.
I was having a mini thumb war with myself when Calum walked in with two mugs of coffee. He handed me a cup and sat in the chair and faced me.
Calum took a slow sip from his cup, keeping his eyes on me. I didn't know how to tell him that I just kissed Luke.
How do I tell him? It's not like I can just say, "Oh hey. Luke and I started fighting then ended up kissing at my front door."
Suddenly, Calum cleared his throat, interrupting my train if thought.
"Would you like to tell me what happened?" As always, Calum raised an eyebrow when he asked me a question he probably already knew the answer to.
I shakily took a breathe and tried not to freak out. I concentrated on the warmth the coffee gave me.
"Aria?" Calum snapped me back into reality again. I couldn't keep avoiding his question.
One more steady breath and I answered.
"I spent an evening with Ethan. Luke called but I ignored it, knowing it would be rude to answer a call while Ethan was trying to show me something. Luke obviously didn't get the hint though."
Calum looked at me, waiting for more answers.
"When Luke wouldn't stop calling, I turned off my phone. After a fun night, Ethan drove me home. As I was about to open the front door, Luke opened it. He was angry. Really angry."
"Why?" Calum questioned.
"Luke wanted to spend some time with me that's why he's been calling. So I screamed at him, told him to fuck off, and that he wasn't my father. Then he ended up really close to me, and all I remember was kissing him after that."
It got quiet after I finished that sentence. Not a single noise. But this silence was deafening. Calum nearly dropped his cup too.
"How do you feel?" Calum asked now.
I stared at him, not understanding his question.
"How did you feel about the kiss and how do you feel about him now?" Calum asked as I took a long sip from my mug.
I shrugged. "I honestly don't know."
Calum gave me the bitch-stop-lying type of look.
I sighed. "I don't even know why I kissed him. But it felt right. And after that I felt so stupid for kissing him, but mostly for letting him slip through my finger tips." I admitted.
Calum laughed. "What?" I asked in confusion.
"Aria. I'm sorry but you and look are so stupid." Calum laughed uncontrollably. I set my cup down and punched his arm. "I'm trying to be serious." I said, folding my arms.
"Don't you get it? It's natural cause you guys are meant to be." Calum exclaimed. I rolled my eyes.
"Calum if that were true, wouldn't he be with me right now? Not getting married to Kathy?" I pointed out.
Calum shook his head. "Poor, sweet, fragile, little Aria." He joked. "Give me a break." I said annoyed.
Calum tried to look offended but he failed miserably. "Well you believe whatever you want to believe little one. I'm going to bed." Calum started for the door.
