20.2 The Stakes

After a long day of school you soon become drained. Feeling as if all of your energy is drained out of your body. And the as soon as you get home the feeling of needing rest hits you.

Going to one of the most prestigious schools on the island. With most of the rich kids like me going. While some of them who are different but yet talented.

Walking into the house greeting the maid who leaves. Passing the kitchen where my personal cook prepares dinner. Worried that Takeshi might expose himself as a merman to my staff. But how can he when I ordered made my room off-limits. After telling them that he is someone who I'm taking care of. None of them seemed to care as long as I pay each of them on time.

Going into my room shutting and locking the door. Taking my shirt off throwing it onto the bed while sitting my backpack down.

"Hey Nagi how was school?" Takeshi says waking up from the kiddy pool.

"It was a bit boring with a shade of snobby rich kids" I say to him letting out a sigh to sit on the foot of the bed as he sits himself up. "Overall I enjoyed being around some of my friends for a change you know"

Looking into Takeshi's eyes as I begin to find myself dozing off. Trying to fight the urge to sleep as Takeshi run his hands through my hair.

"Go ahead and take a nap for now Nagi and save that energy for me when you awake" He says softly holding me in his arms.

"hey get you hands out of my...." I try to say dozing off to sleep.

Swimming to the cave where those two meddling humans where. Messing with things that are off limits to even the royals. Disturbing the creature kept inside its nesting area. These two humans both may pose a threat to me but are not capable of doing things that I can do.

With this place is where I also come gathering different artifacts and things. Claiming them my treasure since that old colony no longer exist. They wont be mad by me taking what belongs to me.

Going up to the surface of the cave gasping for air as noises appear. Faint screams as one of the old mans experiments have finally hatched out of its egg. Giving it a dark grin with revealing my set of teeth. With phase two being something T wont be expecting at all.

"Time to draw this bastard back into the ocean"
