8. What the heart wanted

Outside in the cold snow covering my feet as more continued to fall onto the sand almost covering it completely. A cold breeze from the ocean hit my neck as he put chills down my back.

Takeshi continued to stare at me for a moment. Wiping away the remnants of snow off of my face as he then kissed the top of my forehead.

"That's kind of complicated Nagi you just wait until you are ready to love then when you find that person then you heart will truly know." He said me as caressed his hands through my hair again "Was that the answer you were looking for Nagi" Takeshi asked in a extremely calm tone that a in a way surprised me quite a bit.

I then gave him a nod looking at the sky as he kissed me in the on the cheek. My heart began to skip a beat and eyes widen as he rubs my face with his warm hands against my cold cheek.

"But my heart is telling me that you're the one who I want to be with Takeshi" The inner voice in my said in my mind

More snow continued to hit the ground coming all the way down as it started getting bad with the wind blowing hard. Holding him in my arms as we rush back into the house hearing the news. As the weather alert advising a blizzard in effect until tomorrow morning as the lights go off and then come back on for a few moments.

"This must not be good at all" Takeshi said to me as I set him on the bed looking down at the kiddy pool filled with cold salt water

"It's all ok Takeshi I will just get a couple if more blankets sand by tomorrow morning order space heaters around the house" I tell him reassuring that everything will be alright.

Later on and into the night Takeshi layed his body next to mine on the bed playing with my hair. Unable to get angry after the kiss he gave me earlier I look into his eyes. Wondering if this guy truly loves me or will he eventually leave me like the rest. To live alone in the house where my cries are never heard. Heart feeling a bit heavy from the weight of things. "Will he leave eventually or will he stay with me?."

"Hey Nagisa is there something wrong?" Takeshi asked as I turn my head facing on the opposite side from him.

"I'm sorry for making you worry just please don't leave like they did" I begged him with tears coming down my face silently.

"I promise that I wont leave your side?" He reassured me as I nodded. He then wrapped his as around me as I turn toward him. "Your eyes they are leaking" he said as he quickly wiped them off.

"These are just tears something in which happens when I feel sad about something" I said to him as he kisses my forehead softly then licks a bit of my tears. Wanting to say something if how weird that was I couldn't because of the moment.

"Nagisa please don't be sad any longer because I am here now to make sure of it ok" he said to me kissing my cheek as my face goes red.

"I'm glad that I got to play in the snow with you"

Giving him a nod agreeing he puts my head on his chest as I hear his heart beat. As I lay in the bed I closed my eyes and drifting to sleep slowly as he ran his hands through my hair. A part of me still wondered will he leave me alone again like my parents did long ago?
