Chapter 22~ Good news

Seungyeon pov:

The morning sunshine wafted gently in, difussing across the room. A mild heat radiated around the room, wrapping us in an invisible shawl of warmth. I look to my right to see Precious sleeping soundly. I put on my bemused smile just seeing her sleeping. I pat her slowly and the nurse have to disturb this beautiful time. "Miss. You can go home tomorrow if you have nothing wrong" she said and i just nodded my head. I tried sleeping again since it's still early but i just can't.

Sirens wailed through the thin walls of the hospital disturbing my peaceful sleep once again. I sighed in frustrate and sat up straight. Letting my dizziness go away, i hang my legs loose from the bed as i massaged my temple slowly. I grabbed my phone at the desk nearby and was struggling with the keyboards from my phone. I finally found the icon and pressed the phone against my ear. "Yeobuseyo?" Eunbyeol finally answered. "Tomorrow i get to discharge" i told her in a bored tone. I really want to rest here in this hospital because the nurse and doctors are very friendly. But i have to go back or not the news will blah blah blah.

"Chinja?! I'll tell the others! I have to practice. See you tomorrow!" she excitedly hang up the phone. I sighed thinking i've been here for only 2 days and they're already missing me. I shook my head and wore my slippers. I kissed Precious before going out to find Kihyun's room. I look from door to door but he was not in anywhere.

"Excuse me but do you know where Yoo Kihyun room is?" i asked a nurse that was just passing by me. "Ouh he? He's at level 5 ward 206" she told me. I smiled at her and took off to find his room. My legs were already sore from walking around and finally i've found it. I look at the small glass at the door and peek. I saw him just casually listening songs while reading a book. About Angel's Death (just imagine there is this book).

I knocked and went in. His eyes widened in surprise when he saw me entering. He took of his earpiece and gave me a worried look. "Hey you need to rest. I'll go to your ward later on." he pushed me slowly to the nearest couch which is beside his bed.

He bit his bottom lips just looking at me. "What?" asked him full of curiosity. "You're just as sexy as before" and he winked playfully. Hotness rise up to my cheeks as i blush crimson red. "Thank you. And you still look handsome even with this symptoms" and i playfully shot him a wink all he could do was blush.

"Hey. If i'm gone. Don't ever forget about me alright" he took out his pinky. "Obviously" and i pinky promise him. "I even took a picture of you secretly when you were laughing your ass out" i smirked at him. "When?" he glared at me. "Toilet" and he was taken aback. "Since when i laughed my ass out in the toilet?" he sat up straight. "Hahah you're so funny! Can't you sense the sarcasm? I took it when you were in the practice room. Talking about cats?" i gave him a weird look. "Ouh that day!" and he snapped his fingers. I still eyed him weirdly.

"What? Cats are cute" he crossed him arms and i just shrug. "Can i see it?" he asked me. "See what?" i was confused for a while. "The picture?" he raised his eyebrows. "Ouhhh!" and i took the picture out of my branded phone case. "I look cute though" he keep on staring at the Polaroid picture i took of him. (it's at the top). I shook my head at his cuteness. "Hey you should go now. I'll visit your ward later on" he smiled and i just nodded slowly.

I walked out of his room and shuffle my way to my ward. I went in and saw a dark figure at Precious's crib. I ran to it and push it away. The thing fell and i took Precious quickly. "Who are you?!" i shouted. A deep cackling was all i heard. It stood up and faced me. Jaebum... "You're quite strong for a girl you know" he slapped me. Real hard. I hold Precious tightly and it cried more louder. "You're very lucky this time. If you don't come earlier, she would be dead" he smirked.

"Get lost! Don't disturb us!" i shouted at him. "Uwahhh!!!" Precious cried. I rock her slowly as i shushed her. "Mommy's here. Shhh" and she bacame quiet. "Just watch out Seungyeon" he smirked before going out. I was trembling with fear after what he said to me. I'm gonna take care of you Precious. I put her back on her crib and i lay down to lessen my headache. I massage my temple really hard as it was really painful. I eat the pain killer and the drug made me dizzy and soon i fell asleep.

The tyres blazed the rough cement road as it screeched with a deafening sound. The car went free-wheeling and turned turtle. A deafening blast rose into the air. The car had crashed into a tree. The windscreen shattered into smithereens. Thick layers of burnt dust puffed out of the rattling engine. Traffic came into an immediate total standstill. I look to my right to see Precious all squashed against the seat. "NOOOOO!!!" i shout at the top of my lungs. It can't be! She can't be dead!

I shot up from my bed panting real hard. Beads of perspiration trickled down my sweaty face. I wiped it off and covered my face with my hands. "What is happening to me?" i shook my head and hit it a couple of times before crying my eyes out.

Kihyun pov:

*knock knock*. I knew it was the doctor because no one will visit me at this time. "Hey Kihyun. We have good news but we're not really sure of it" the doctor rub his nape. "What is it doc?" i fix my position and look straight into his eyes. "We're gonna bring you to America to get a more better treatment. You're only left a month. This is your chance you mights survive it. Someone got through it and he's happy now" and my heart sank.

"But why in America?" my eyes are all welled up from tears. "They have better handle and care of cancer patients. Please go. We're bringing you tomorrow" the doctor advised me. "Seungyeon. How about her?" my tears decided to betray me as it start to drip down. "I can handle it. Trust me. We're bringing you there tomorrow morning. Get ready" i nodded and he went out. I wish i could survive. Should i tell Xiao? I think i should. I'm gonna be with you Seungyeon. I promise.
