Why does everything that's forbidden,
have the colour of a ripened mango
Begging to be eaten?
A conscious effort is made to avoid it
A subconscious effort is made to try it, promising to enjoy it..
People talk, words piercing like daggers, boring into my soul
Words tearing me apart till it reaches its destination, my heart
Creating a wound with alcohol poured and salt rubbed in it
All I can do is watch it, for I'm the redefinition of illicit,
abomination, sacrilege, you name it.
I'm scared, so scared, all I do is watch u and just hope
Hope for the forbidden.
Ur smile, your eyes, your personality lying all out in the open
Only thoughts in ur mind hidden and mine unspoken.
What u'd think is what I fear the most,
Cos that's the ghost which torments me, which haunts me..
What u'd think drives me into insanity.
