The day of the ceremony was coming really fast, a little too quick for my taste. I skipped school on Friday, not feeling quite in the mood to get out from the house. Yesterday when I got back, after I had convinced Josh to not to go over and kill chop up the Alpha, I went to the basement. The basement was where I would go train, or in this case vent. Josh had cast a spell so it was as big as a basketball court.
By the next day, there were broken and scratched up dummies all over the floor and many dents in the wall. Since most of the time I couldn't change into my wolf, I had to learn hot to fight in my human form. My weapon of choice was a pair of batons, which might not seem deadly but it actually was. One blow to the head could cause death and break many, many bones. I actually felt sort of sorry for the wall.
"You need to stop." Josh called my from behind. I had been in here the whole night and was currently still going. I didn't eat or sleep because if I stopped I would probably break down which I do not want to happen.
"Thea." He tried calling me again. I ignored him and hit the dummy on the sides so hard it's arm fell off.
"Thea." I hit off a leg.
"Hope Faye!" He yelled. I turned around, not having heard my real name for so long. "You need to stop. You need to rest now and sleep!" I scowled.
"You made me stop hitting the poor dummy who currently has his arms and legs off and I'm about to decapitate his head so unless you don't want to take his place I suggest you save your breath." I snapped. I was just about to give the final blow but everything turned dizzy.
I found myself in my room, and Josh next to me, a frown on his face and I realized he had teleported us. I lowered my batons and got angry. "Why did you do that?"
"You need to rest. Remember you were the one who asked me to calm down, now you need to do the same. He's not worth any of this." I stopped. He was right. I was just making things into a bigger fuss. I smiled sheepishly.
"I'm sorry Joshy." I hugged him. He smiled and wrapped his arms around me, ruffling my hair. "I'm sorry for acting like such aa brat."
"It's totally understandable. Now go shower and go to bed, you smell like death itself." I smacked his head, but his words did the effect.

Saturday. This was the day. We were all required to wear red and black clothes. I put on a knee length, dark red dress, and shrugged on a black jacket on. Not my ideal wardrobe taste but this were the type of clothes Thea Collins would wear. I didn't usually wear make up but since this was a special ceremony and I decided to use a very minimum amount. Since it was supposed to take place at night, I spent the whole morning biting my nails. My mind kept wondering to a particular pair of green eyes but with much strength and distraction, I managed to occupy myself with something else.
Finally, the time of the ceremony had arrived. We made our way to the town square, along with the rest of the pack. I spotted Ethan and my way to him.
"Hey." He said after he noticed me. "Crazy day."
"You bet." I sighed.
The ceremony started and I made my way to Josh. The pack were all here, on the right side of the square, the Blood Stone pack on the other.
"Member of the Red Valley pack." Alpha Gray started. My heart skipped a beat. I had forgotten about him. I spent the past two days trying to forget about him, and here he was. He was wearing a dark suit with a red tie, looking really attractive under the light. I shook my head and stared at the ground, trying to ignore my wolf who was trying to get me to get near him.
