Lilly's POV
"I don't like that boy" my Dad grumbled as I entered the kitchen wearing a lilac coloured dress.
I'd applied a touch of mascara and some nude lip gloss before coming down, I wasn't one for make up.
"Chase is fine Dad" I said, joining him at the table.
"Don't do anything silly tonight Lilly, no kissing, no se-"
"Dad! I'm not 4! I know what to do and what not to do" I yelled, not wanting to have this conversation with him.
"Yes yes, but I mean it" he said, his face turning serious.
"Yes Dad"
Just then, there was a knock at the door. I shoved my phone in the little pocket on the side of my dress, kissed Dad goodbye and rushed towards the door.
"Hey babe" Chase smiled, giving me a short kiss on the lips.
"Hi" I said sweetly.
"You ready to go?"
I nodded quickly and followed him out to his car.

*At the restaurant*
Chase took me to a small, yet beautiful restaurant on the corner of Beau st. It looked very expensive both inside and out.
We were sitting at a table near the back of the restaurant when a waiter wearing a lot of make up, and not a lot of clothing came to take our order.
"Hi" she said, giving Chase a flirtatious smile.
"What can I get for you tonight?" she asked, leaning in closer towards him.
What was this chicks problem?
"Are you on the menu?" Chase smirked.
What the hell. What a jerk!
I grabbed my glass of water and poured it all over his hair.
"Bitch!" he yelled. I stood up and headed towards the door.
"I think I'll eat somewhere else"
But before I could step outside the restaurant, a felt someone pull at my wrist.
Chase.
"Let go of me!" I yelled, trying to break free from his grip.
"Where do you think you're going?" he taunted, his hair dripping wet.
"Any where but here you jerk!"
Suddenly I felt his fist connect with my cheek.
I fell to the floor crying out in pain. I could already feel a bruise starting to form. All eyes in the restaurant were on us.
I quickly got to my feet and ran out of the restaurant, all the way to Luke's house.
I knocked hard and loud on his front door, before it flung open.
"Lilly! What the f- come in" he said in shock.
"What happened- Lilly your face!"
I fell onto to his bed, tears streaming down my face like a waterfall.
He took the sleave of his jumper and wiped the tears away softly. His eyes were filled with anger.
"What happened?!"
I turned away.
"Lilly... tell me what happened" Luke caressed my cheak softly, I winced as his fingers brushed over the already forming bruise.
"He hit me... Chase" I whispered.
Luke dropped his hand, his jaw clenched tight.
"That fucking asshole!" he screamed "Just wait till tomorrow, I swear to god I'll-"
"Luke stop!" I yelled, wiping more tears away.
He sighed loudly and joined me on the end of his bed again.
"Lilly I'm so sorry" he whispered, hanging his head.
"I won't let him touch you ever again I promise" he said taking both my hands in his.
I stared longingly into his beautiful deep blue eyes, filled with anger and sorrow, sadness and regret.
"Don't apologize Luke... it's not your fault"
He leaned in closer, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear.
"Even leaves fall for you" he whispered.
I felt our lips touch, as he kissed me softly. What was I doing? I was kissing my bestfriend! But I didn't pull away, I kissed him back.
After a few minutes he pulled away.
"C'mon" he said leading me into his bathroom "Let's get you cleaned up... I'll call your Dad, tell him you're staying at mine"
He smiled weakly before shutting the bathroom door.
"Luke" I said quickly;Luke opened the door, raising his eyebrows,
"Yeah?"
"Thank you"
He smiled again, closing the door behind him as he walked out.
I looked into the mirror, gaping at the dark bruise on my cheak.
I held my fingers up to my lips, remembering the kiss Luke had just given me.
Was I falling for my best friend?
*Authors note: This was probably the hardest chapter I've written so far. I'm sorry if I offended anyone with the restaurant scene. So Chase is an asshole. The next Chapter is set at school in the cafeteria at lunch, where Luke confronts a certain someone. Thank you for reading and don't forget to vote!
