Chapter 9

*2 hours later*

Lilly's POV

The music was loud, and it echoed throughout the whole house. There were cups scattered everywhere, people passed out on couches, hormonal teenagers making out, people mucking around in the pool, and then there was me, sober, and searching hopelessly for Cassidy.

I'd searched every inch of Luke's house, the place was a mess. Before the partied started, we asked James, Noah and Cassidy if they could help clean up the morning after, they agreed with no sigh's or groans, I really loved them.

"Lilly! Thank god I found you!" I heard Cassidy scream from upstairs, she quickly ran down, a worried look on her face.

"What happened Cass? Are you okay?" I gasped.

"It's... It's James, he and Josh Fields are fighting outside. I can see everything from the balcony!"

 Oh no.

I ran outside to the backyard and stopped in my tracks as I saw a huge circle near the pool. I ran over to the circle and pushed my way through to the middle, just in time to see James punch Oliver in the face.

"What's he doing here?" asked Cassidy from behind me.

I shook my head "I don't... he wasn't invited"

"James!" Luke yelled from somewhere in the crowd. I watched in fear as Luke pulled James off Josh and pushed him out of the circle.

"Dude I had that!" James screamed. I gasped, noticing the cut above James' eye as it bled scarlet.

I walked over slowly, the crowd had spread out now and had gone back to partying.

"You're drunk James" Luke said calmly, struggling a bit trying to hold him back. Luke was drunk to, but he knew how to control himself.

"I'm fine, let go of me!" James said in frustration, pulling away from Luke roughly and heading inside.

"Yeah that's right, get out of here freshman" Josh scoffed from behind Luke.

I saw Luke's muscles tense as he walked over to Josh and punched him in the face, "Touch him again, and I'll kill you"

And with that, Luke disappeared inside, to go look for James I'd assumed. Cassidy stood next to me nearly in tears, she wasn't drunk, I couldn't smell any alcohol on her. I pulled her into a hug, and sat her down next to the pool.

*Authors note: So James huh? He finally showed his bad side. Chapter 10 will be up by tomorrow night! I won't be home all day so I can't upload any earliar unless I pull an all nighter which is most probably not going to happen. Please please please give me some feed back! I'd really appreciate it!
