"That would look so cute with some boots." Conny said peeking in my dressing room. We were out shopping, and I was looking for something cute to sport to work.

"In this heat? Uh uh I don't think so." I said rolling my eyes. The outfit was cute and probably would look good with boots, but I was definitely not taking that chance.

I changed back and grabbed our bags and headed to the food court. I sighed and tried to clear my mind. I haven't talked to Dominick in a hot ass minute, and that shit was still tugging at me. His hurtful words stung a hell of a lot, and I didn't know how to handle the emotions his words triggered. I was hurt, pissed, angry, sad, and lonley.. almost.

Micah and Conny have pretty much been helping me out, and this job is taking up a lot of my time. I really didn't have much time to reminise on Dominick's ass, and I was grateful. We stopped infront of an Asian restaurant and I looked over the buffet.

"Omg, is that Jeremiah?" Conny cooed. I swear this girl was on someone else dick every week. I shook my head and turned in the direction she was turned.

Zy and Jeremiah were sure enough walking our way. I sighed hard and nudged Conny's shoulder knowing that she probably set this up.

"What?"

"Sneaky bitch." I bit my lip and turned back around.

Surprisingly so, Zy and I have be reacquainted. Partically because of Conny's persistant ass, but he's been nothing but a gentlemen. We've only hung out a couple time since Dominick and I fell out, and he's been cool.

He never brings up the past, unless he's saying some sweet shit I know he thinks I'm buying into. When really I'm not, but I am. I've really just been trying to look over the whole Dominick situation. It just gets me so heated, and I needed distraction.

"Hey beautiful." Zy said over my shoulder, and hugged me from behind.

"Hey." I said.

"What's up?"

"Nothing, we were just getting some food." I looked over to where Conny was, and her and Jeremiah went ghost. I rolled my eyes and looked over the buffet again, I grabbed myself a to go plate and and started putting some food on it.

"Mind if I join you?"

"No," I purchased my food and walked to an empty table, and Zy followed behind.

"I thought you were leaving?" he asked.

"Well, I can't cause Conny drove us here."

"I can take you home." Zy suggested.

I shrugged, wanting the ride but not sure as to whether I should.

But I ended up complying, and Zy drove me to my apartment. Micah wasn't home yet, and I wasn't surprised. I threw my bags in my room and walked to the dinning room table.

"So how's your job?" Zy asked digging into his food.

"It's great actually. We have this big show coming up and some of my work is being displayed."

"That's wassup. When is it?" he asked.

"Next weekend, but you should come. I'm trying to invite a couple people I know."

"Well, I'll be there."

I smiled and sipped on my iced tea. 

"So, have you talked to your ex?" I nearly choked. Dominick was the last thing I wanted to talk about, especially with him.
