"Clint, get up or I'll be late." Natasha was tugging on his arm that was protruding from under the blanket. She was already dressed for the day.

Clint grunted and shifted under the covers. Natasha let go of his arm and stood with hands on her hips.

"Clint. If you cause me to be late, I'm not speaking to you for a week. And I'm not gonna help you with the case." Natasha warned, although she wondered whether she could actually bring herself to ignore him for a week.

Clint stirred and rubbed his eyes, then sat up looking at Natasha through lidded eyes.

Natasha couldn't help but giggle at his appearance then. He looked absolutely adorable with his messy hair sticking out at awkward places. She thought he looked like a lost sheep.

"I'm awake, don't ignore me." He said, eyes barely open and voice deeply laced with sleep, making whatever he said seem incoherent.

"Come on." Natasha dragged him out of the bed, smiling cheekily.

After a fierce battle over what to wear, Clint and Natasha emerged from the room, with Clint wearing a grey v-neck tee with a leather jacket over it, black skinny jeans, and complete with black high cut converse.

Natasha insisted he look presentable when he sent her to school, probably so she could show off her super spy boyfriend (without letting anyone know he was one). Clint didn't mind although he did find it a hassle to 'dress up', as long as Natasha was happy, he was too.

"Why do you have to wear this short black skirt, Sweetheart?" Clint asked as they took the elevator down to the carpark.

"You like it, don't you?" Natasha teased.

"Yeah I do, but I don't want other guys ogling at you." He took her chin in his hand.

"Don't worry, with your bad boy look today, no one would dare mess with me." She said, then paused to reach into her jacket pocket to retrieve a dog tag, which she slung round Clint's neck.

"There, you look like you're from the mafia now." Natasha giggled, patting his chest and admiring her work. Clint chuckled and snaked his arms round her waist while she wove hers round his neck.

They shared a short kiss just as the elevator doors dinged open and a smirking Coulson greeted them.

"First time I'm seeing this on S.H.I.E.L.D ground." He said with a laugh, gesturing to the couple who were still in each other's arms.

Clint and Natasha shyly separated and went on their way.

---------------------------------------------

After dropping Natasha off at school, Clint went back to collect the equipment to set up the hidden camera before heading to Samson's Hardwares.

The rusty bell tinkled as Clint stepped yet again into the stale interior of the store.

"I see you're back, young lad." Said the guy behind the counter without even looking up from his magazine.

"I'm here to return this." Clint slid the hard disk across the counter top to him.

"What's with the bad boy look today?" The guy smirked and scratched his stubbled chin.

Clint ignored that comment. "Thanks for your help and cooperation." He added after a moment of silence.

"Can't not cooperate with money." The guy chuckled then picked up the hard disk and stowed it away in a drawer behind the counter.

Clint left the store and looked left and right to make sure no one was on the street before getting to work installing the hidden camera.

He hid it in slit of the rusty unused mailbox, angling it so that it could capture the customers' faces.

Clint was oblivious to the pair of eyes watching him from the alley. "You think you're so smart." A mutter under breath.

Now Clint would just have to wait till the camera caught something useful to lead them on the case. He decided to head back to base to watch the new recruits train before picking Natasha up after school.

---------------------------------------------

Natasha was standing at the pick up point of the university waiting for Clint together with her classmates Hope Van Dyne and Mary-Jane Watson, who wanted to meet Clint.

A low rumble was heard, directing the girls' attention to the motorbike pulling up.

Clint removed his helmet and swung one leg over the bike to get off. Natasha was pleased to note that he had maintained his look from the morning.

"Hey." She began as he approached.

"Hey Sweetheart."

"Woah Natasha, didn't know you liked bad boys." Hope raised an eyebrow cheekily.

"He's good to me, that's all that matters." Natasha grinned and glanced at Clint.

Mary-Jane was swooning over Clint the moment she saw him , earning teasing glints from Natasha and Hope.

"Peter's coming." Natasha whispered, and Mary-Jane became all flustered, trying to look normal.

"Natasha was just joking. Better keep your foot in one boat, M.J." Hope teased and tutted.

"You have no chance, Clint boat is all
mine." Natasha laughed and kissed Clint on the cheek.

They all laughed and chatted a little more before going their separate ways.

---------------------------------------------

Clint sent Natasha home and decided to stay for dinner.

After closing the door to the bedroom, Natasha flopped down onto the bed in exhaustion from the day at school. Clint laid down next to her and they stared at the ceiling for a few moments.

"What was that?" Clint asked out of nowhere.

"What was what?"

"The bad boy look and your friends." He continued, asking mainly out of curiosity and nothing else.

"It...was nothing. Just wanted to show my friends how amazing you are. I'm sorry if I made you feel embarrassed or anything, Clint. Please know that I love you no matter how you are...even without your bad boy look. Don't be angry." She replied a little guiltily, lacing her fingers together and pouting slightly.

Clint chuckled at her innocence and took her hands in his.

"Look, Sweetheart. You have nothing to be sorry for and neither am I angry." He lifted her chin with one hand so she could look at him. Clint smiled to assure her and she returned the smile.

"Wanna see how bad I can be?" Clint smirked with a raised eyebrow, then placed the dog tag between his teeth.

Natasha grinned and pinched his cheeks.

And that was how the tickle fight started.
