" Wait, Matthew! " Shouted Gilbert as he grasped the Canadian's wrist in a firm grip.
" I can't, Gilbert! "
" What do you mean you can't! What's going on Matthew?! " Yelled the Prussian in confusion and anger. His crimson red orbs ignited with a great fire, grabbing Matthew's wrist so tightly that Matthew couldn't get free.
What's going on and how did this happen? Well..." Gilbert, I think we've worked long enough today. We should head home. "
Gilbert nodded, grabbing onto his coat and giving Matthew's to him.
" Here, Boss. "
" Thanks, and what did I tell you about calling me boss- "
The Canadian let out a slight yelp as he tripped over the legs of a chair, falling slowly towards the ground.
" Hold on! I got you! " Gilbert shouted and took hold of Matthew's wrist, attempting to stop him from falling. However, he himself fell together with Matthew, both of them rolling all over the ground, until they came to a complete stop.
Wanna know the good and bad news? Well, good news is that neither of them got injured. Bad news? They landed in a very awkward position...
Matthew was lying on the ground like a tortoise flipped over, surprise and shock written on his face. His violet eyes stared at Gilbert, cheeks flushed bright pink. Gilbert on the other hand, was lying on top of him, his silver bangs falling onto his face. His cheeks were flushed ten times that of Matthew's. What if someone came in and saw them? Wouldn't that be very embarrassing-
" Matt? " Just then, Alfred walked in, a burger in his hands. But as soon as he walked into the office, he immediately regretted it. One look at the pair and he had dropped his burger onto the floor.
" What the fuck? " At first, his tone sounded shocked and confused, but it stung with anger afterwards. Alfred's bright baby blue eyes lit up with emotion- Fury, anger, shock, you name it. His wide blue eyes narrowed into small slits as he shoved Gilbert off of his brother.
" C'mon Matthew, we're going home. " Nearly hissed Alfred as he helped pull his brother up. Afterwards, he stormed out of the office, dragging Matthew along, leaving Gilbert standing dumbstruck. What just happened?Matthew blinked but said nothing. He knew his brother wasn't happy, as he didn't call him
" Mattie " like he always did. No, he called him Matthew. His proper name. That must have meant he was really pissed off. Matthew gulped silently, he hadn't seen his brother angry before. He wondered if he would be violent, and he prayed for Alfred to give him mercy.Alfred was angry. Actually, he was pissed. More than angry. But not at Matthew. He was angry at himself and Gilbert. How dare Gilbert take advantage of his younger brother!
( Actually Matthew was older but Alfred treated him like a younger brother ) And he thought Gilbert was a good guy. He was also pissed at himself. He could have walked in earlier, maybe he could have stopped it from happening. If his Matt got any transmitted diseases, he knew right away exactly who it was from and who to kill.Alfred slammed the door behind him and Matthew, absolutely furious. He kicked his shoes off. Matthew cringed and shut his eyes when the door slammed shut. Yep, Alfred was definitely angry.
" WHAT THE FUCK! " Alfred screamed, probably waking up their neighbors.
" What the fuck Matthew! Gilbert was coming onto you! You barely seen him for years and... And... UGH! " The raging American shouted this time, punching the dining table beside him, making Matthew cringe again.
" But I- He wasn't- He... "
" He what Matthew? He what? TELL ME MATT! Oh my god, he's trying to lead you on! Don't you see? " Matthew narrowed his eyes. What he experienced was absolutely nothing like that! Gilbert was a good guy!
" Now just calm down- "
" No, I will not calm down! I'm your older brother and as your older brother, I demand you to be careful! Do NOT let him lead you on! From now onwards, he's only your secretary and that's it! "
" Actually I'm older- "
" We clear?! "
Matthew bit his lip. Sure he liked Gilbert, but family came first. So he had no choice but to obey Alfred, older sibling or not.
" Yes... "
" Now go to sleep... It's getting late. "
Matthew blinked.
" Are you mad at me? " Matthew said. Alfred could hear the hurt in his voice, and softened his gaze.
" No... I'm not. Go to sleep. "
" I have work. "
" Then go do whatever you need to do, then go to sleep. Goodnight. " Yawned Alfred as he headed off to his bedroom, not bothering to change into his pjs.Meanwhile, Gilbert was frowning as he took the taxi home. There were hardly any cars on the road as it was already 10pm, which mean the could get home faster. But he didn't care.
He frowned some more, and was apparently token notice of by the taxi driver.
" Hey kid, why you frowning so much? " He didn't take his eyes off the road.
" Some problems with my boyfriend and his brother. " He couldn't care less if the taxi driver knew he was gay, so he spilled his problems to this complete stranger sitting next to him. I mean, he want going to see him anymore, so why not, right?
" Tell you what. Why don't you talk to his brother, work things out, you know? Then work things out with his brother. Just get them to listen to you, no matter what, or else you're never going to solve this. And talk face to face, not on the phone. That way it sounds more sincere. "
Gilbert thought of it. Well, this guy had a point.
" Your stop. " He heard the tires screech to a halt, and he got out of the taxi.
" Danke Mr. That was the most awesome advice I've heard all day. "
" No problem kid. "
Sighing, Gilbert entered the apartment, grabbed the keys to his room and opened the door, closing it behind him, finally being able to rest in peace.A/N
