" Matt, mind if I go out for a walk? I'll just be at the East Coast Park if you need me. "
Gilbert called out to his crush, namely Matthew. The corner of Matthew's lips tugged into a slight smile as he nodded. Gilbert blushed and quickly headed out, much to the amusement of the Canadian.
Matthew knew very well that Gilbert had a crush on him. He didn't really mind; in fact, he liked the Prussian back. Even if he could be arrogant or annoying sometimes.Gilbert proceeded to walk to the park nearby. It was a sunny day, nothing could go wrong. Gilbert sighed, contented. Everything was good, he had a steady job, blah blah blah. Finally, his life was just the way he wanted it to be.
Along the way, he saw a homeless man sitting on the ground, waiting for people to approach him and give him money. Unfortunately, there wasn't anyone around. His clothes were torn and tattered, and he was wearing an old hat. His shoes were old as well. He looked sad and exhausted, and his eyes looked dead - devoid of emotion. It truly made Gilbert feel extremely sorry for him. On a bright sunny day like this, Gilbert thought that no one should be unhappy. Though he could feel that there was something off about the man... He looked familiar.
And so, with a shrug, Gilbert approached the man. The man saw Gilbert approaching him, and gave him such a look that made anyone's heart melt. Gilbert reached into his pocket and almost coincidentally, he had 10 Bucks. He pulled the green paper out and put it into the container beside the guy.
The homeless man thanked him profusely. Gilbert smiled, saying that it wasn't a problem. After that, he proceeded to continue his walk. Although out of the corner of his eye, he could see a glint- an almost smug glint in his eyes. Gilbert shrugged it off once again, thinking that it was just his imagination....

" Alright men, get him in the car, quick. Go! And don't forget to tie him up. " The homeless man immediately got up from the ground, and all of a sudden, two large looking men popped out from some thick bushes.
The large and burly men tied up an unconscious Gilbert, then carried him into the suspicious-looking black van nearby.
As the homeless man sprang up from the ground, his cap slid off, too. He put the cap in a duffel bag immediately. Now he didn't look so homeless anymore. He didn't look exhausted. In fact, he looked energized. He took the 10 Bucks and shoved the paper in his pocket. He then climbed into the driver's side of the van, and sped off. However, as he did so, a wind blew, and it blew away a familiar looking item as well. There was no one around, only a beige colored scarf lying on the ground.
As minutes passed by, Matthew began to grow worried. When Gil went out for walks, he didn't take this long. Something was certainly wrong. Matthew bit his lip in anxiety while waiting for the front door to open with a loud ' The awesome me is here! '
As the clock struck 12 Noon, Matthew was sick with worry and anxiety. It was lunch time, and Gilbert always came home just in time for lunch.
He decided that was it. He couldn't stand the lurching feeling in his stomach any longer. He stood up, got into his shoes and ran out of the door, towards the East Coast Park." Hurry! Get him in the plane! " The ' homeless ' man shouted.
" Yes boss! " A couple of shouts could be heard as the two large men carried Gilbert into the small plane, tying him to a chair.
" Preparing for takeoff, sirs! " A shout came from the Pilot's cabin.
" Takeoff! Now! " The mastermind behind everything yelled.
As the plane took off from the ground, one of the two men turned towards ' Boss '.
" Boss... Why are we in such a hurry? No one's behind our tail. "
" Idiot, that Canadian is going to notice Gilbert's gone! He normally comes back for lunch at this time, so of course that Canadian is going to notice something's wrong! "
" How do you know? "
" Shut up and mind your own business. I have my sources. "
' Boss ' hissed, his face nearly turning red with embarrassment. Luckily for him, he was able to conceal, and don't let him know.
The man stayed silent, not wanting to ask any more questions that may set off his boss's sparks. However, in the back of his mind, he still thought that his boss was a creepy stalker.Matthew raced towards the park. He tried to spot a silver-haired, red-eyed albino in the park, but all he saw were trees and plants and bushes. He circled around the park, and he found a scarf lying on the ground.
He approached the scarf, poking it. Upon closer inspection, his eyes widened. The material of the scarf, and the color... As well as a Russian badge on it, suggested that it was clearly Russia's scarf. Also, he noticed that the park was empty. And there was a sign on the ground that said, " Homeless, need help " and a container on the ground.
Beside the container, there was also another badge. However, it wasn't a Russian one. No, it was German. Or rather, Prussian, the term Gilbert preferred. It was on the shape of a cross, and Matthew could see his reflection in the cross.
Matthew scratched his head, and tried to connect the pieces together. It was finally time to play Sherlock, but he didn't want to play that game anymore. It wasn't fun and it made him anxious.
All of a sudden, a connection was made. There was no one around...
A homeless man in the park...
Where Gilbert always went...
A scarf, two badges...Matthew finally had it all figured out.
