I finished off writing the last sentence of my project and put my pen down, properly exhausted by my homework. The sleepover had sadly been shifted to Friday... So a whole week of work lay ahead of me before the only thing I had to look forward to would happen. Determined to start this year of by doing good, I had emptied the contents of my bag and sat down to finish my homework and had successfully done so. You see, I had earned quite a reputation last year for tardiness and unpunctuality— also the numerous pranks I played on the teachers and a bad habit of back answering and disrespect.
Yes, I was quite the delinquent. But that's what kept me alive. I had got my rebellious qualities from my mother, who had claimed that she also had a quite a...reputation.
But not this year...this year I was going to try to be good.
Just then, my phone rang and I reached for it groaning with the effort. I was on one side of he bed and my phone on the other.
"Hello?" I inquired, swiping the accept option.
"Sup freak"
I rolled my eyes, "Hello Ashton."
"You doing anything?"
"Yes actually, I'm lying naked on my bed listening to Bad romance, I want to know why your disturbing me."
"Because" he said, and I heard a mischievous tone to his voice, "I have been dreaming for quite a while to join you and show you what Lady Gaga was going through when she wrote that song."
I smiled, "Well then come on over."
He snickered, "I just need company tonight. Don't wanna be alone. Would it be inappropriate if we can watch movies?"
"I'll plop in fifty shades of grey right now."
Ashton laughed, "I'll bring snacks."
The line went dead and I tossed the phone. Yay, so I had something to do tonight...even if it involves spending movie time with Ashton Burrow and starting off Mission Acquire Lottie.
Hey I like that... Has a nice ring to it...
--
Mission Acquire Lottie?" Ashton deadpanned giving me the your-outta-your-mind look.
I nodded my head giving him a wide smile and plopped down on my sofa.
He sat down beside me and set the box of pizza on the coffee table. "Why not Mission Acquire Hottie?" He suggested and I made a face... And then considered it for a few seconds and then jumped up in joy.
"OH YES!" I squealed, "Mission Acquire Lottie the Hottie!"
Ashton scowled, "Why are you set on Lottie...and why acquire...?
Because" I said intelligently and then proceeded to put the Avengers 2 DVD into the player.
He looked at me expectantly, "Because....?"
I turned the tv on and pressed with CD option, shrugging, "Because."
He shook his head and leaned back on the sofa, " what are we watching?"
"Avengers 2"
"Your kidding right? I already watched it like 10 times."
"Too bad, watch it an eleventh. Besides, I haven't seen it yet."
His eyes popped out, "what?" He said laughing.
I backed away from the Tv as it started and gave him the death glare, "And boy," I said, with a menacing tone, "you spoil it for me and I cut your neck. Am I understood?"
