"Just forget it Ayejin." Ravi said harshly getting up from my lap.
"I promise I'll ignore everything that happened tod-"
"Nothing happened so shut up." He got up and marched away.I stood and winced at my already fallen asleep leg. Un-grateful son of a.. Never Mind.
I go back inside and notice that school is almost over. There were some yells coming from the hall. I scurry over to see the commotion.
"KIM WONSHIK WHAT'S THE MEANING OF THIS?"
I turn and see a teacher holding a box of beer in her hand while holding his backpack in the other. He rolled his eyes and glared at her.
"Beer box, what else." He said annoyed.
"Oh I see that, now go to the office." She spits out clicking her heel.
I stepped forward.
"N-no! Its my box, I asked him to throw it away." I say, even I couldn't believe myself. Ravi glared at me.
"Park Ayejin, we know clearly that you're lying." She said remarkably.
I took out Ravi's bottle from my backpack and held it out.
"He shouldn't be in trouble." I mumbled.
She motioned me over.
"Both of you, office now." She said and walked away. Ravi took my neck roughly and brought me closer.
"How stupid can you get?" He hissed.
"Un-grateful jerk. I skipped classes for you and tried taking the blame."He scoffs.
"So? That's your stupidity, I never forced you to do any of that!" He began dragging me towards the exit.
"No! I have to go to the office with you too!"
"No. I'l speak the truth. Why get in trouble when you didn't do anything."
"Because Im nice!" I pried his hold off and stomped towards the office. He followed close behind silently. "And if I don't go to the office, Mrs Welts will know and get me in bigger trouble."
"You're still talking?."I rolled my eyes and went into the principles office.
"Yes Ayejin? Yes Wonshik?" He asked.
"Mrs Welts told us to come because of having alcohol containers in our possession." I say dryly. "But it was all mine. I just told Kim Wonshik to throw the box-""Nope, Shes lying." He said glaring at me.
"No, Im not."
"Yes, you are.""Stop it." The principle took out a card for each of us. "Call your parents and read off that card to them while I get some papers out."
I glance down at the card, it read;
Dear, mom/dad, I apologize sincerely for misbehaving and not living up to a school rule, I __(wrongdoing)___ and I'll face consequences. The principle would like to talk to you.
I AM NOT READING THAT TO DAD.
He does not deserve this heartbreaking news that isn't even true about me. I bit my nail and glance at the principle.
"Can I face detention instead?"
"No Ms, you must face the right amount of consequence."
"Please?"
"No, now dial."I sigh and try one more time.
"Ahh please, no one's home to answer and dad doesn't have a phone." I lie.
"You seriously prefer detention?" He said sternly.
"Yes."
"Fine, detention after school tomorrow, and during lunch tomorrow, and before school tomorrow." He put one of the papers back in the drawer. "As for you, supposedly, You aren't at fault, but just in case, same consequence but detention only before school."
