I scramble up and reach out for Ravi. He takes a shaky step back, his eyes welling up with pain. I look back and see Seungri looking out into space, in despair. I stand between both of them.
Who do I reach out to?
Ravi fell back and sat in the same position as Seungri, shaking his head. I slowly lower my head.
"I- I didn't mean to... Tell you this way."
He looked up, suddenly glaring at me.
"I should have known better, there are hello's, so there must be good bye's.." He lowered his eyes, and softening his expression. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?" He gasped out.
"I couldn't do that to you just yet, I -"
"But you decided to wait it off, isn't that worse?"He ran his hand through his hair and clenched his jaw. I looked over at Seungri, he was staring at me with the I cant believe it look. He shook his head slightly and looked away.
I looked back at Ravi, destroyed to bits. He tilted his head away and leaned up against a fence. Seungri stood and hugged me tightly.
I stood there feeling like crying like a baby. He rubbed the back of my neck then pulled back.
"Might as well spend the time we have together well huh?" He smiled fondly.
I returned a forced smile. "Duh."
He chuckled and hugged me again. "I'll never take you for granted Ayejinny."
I stepped back from the hug and stared into his eyes. In sincerity, its obvious he's in pain. I nod and glance over my shoulder at Ravi holding his head.Seungri clears his throat.
"I understand." He said turning around and walking away with his head low and his hands deep in his pockets.
I bit my tongue, Seungri needs me too. But Ravi does as well. I turn and lean down and lift his head. His eyes were deep with agony, worse than Seungri's.
"You cant go. You just cant." He mumbled drowsily through his pale and chapped lips.
I hug his head to my chest.
"My turtle. How it started with the locker incident."
He shook gently. His tears dripped onto my sweats. How I wish I never met him, at least he wouldn't be going through this.
Footsteps came down the doorsteps from Ravi's home. His mom came out with a blanket, she spread it out on us with a shocked expression as she saw Ravi.
She paused, letting the blanket droop on a crooked angle. I followed her with my eyes as she lowered down next to my ear.
"Waa... What happened? He looks worse than the loss of my Eric." She whispered urgently. How I wish my mom was here too.
"Ah...." My voice fainted towards the end. "I...." I looked down at Ravi, his crying paused.
"I'll be leaving." I said in a whisper.
She stiffened and whimpered the slightest bit.
"Why honey? No... This'll hit my poor baby." She covered her mouth in complete horror.
I nodded in agreement. It'll shatter him. Bring him lower than when I met him. Why did me, a middle-class-loner-obnoxious-loser-ugly-weird-strange-unfit girl have to cause so much to a rude-bad-hot-fit-sensitive-beautiful-sweet- boy.
