"So, explanation please." I said rubbing his chin as he groaned.

"Oh come on Ravi, you already slept in too long, it's two in the afternoon." I tugged his ear.
"Hangover is tough." He rubbed his coarse throat.
"That's what you get for not listening to me; idiot."
"I took a few shots."
I scoff. A few my ass. Opps, did I just think that?!

I need to stop cussing mentally.

"Of Vodka."

I rolled my eyes. Makes more sense.

"Why?"
"Dad is home and the words he shared infuriated me that I may or may not have almost went to Eric's gang."
"Wait you what?!"
"I got mad and asked a few questions if it was true. Nothing more, they pitied me and wished for my health surprisingly."
"What is true? What words infuriated you?"
"Don't make me remember them or else I'll get mad again."

I twist my mouth and huff like a child. He tosses over and closes his eyes.

I slap his arm.

" get up. We gotta help your sister with the funeral. Lazy drunk man."

I get up off the creaky bed and get my jeans which were on the floor. I glanced at him making sure he wasn't looking and changed my pajama shorts to my jeans.

He turned over and mumbled something.

"What?"

"I said kiss me."

"No"

"Why?!" He asks audibly getting more agitated.

"You drank. Now hurry and take a cold shower. I'll turn it on for you."

I slide my feet into some slippers and dig through his drawer for a towel. He rolled over and slowly let his body droop down to the floor.

"It'd be easier if you just stood and got off the bed."

"Shh."

I grin and shake my head. Children these days.

I go into the hall and knock on the bathroom door making sure no one was in, then opened it and went it. It felt like it was only a while ago when Ravi had purposely peed everywhere for me to clean; and at that time I hated him with all my guts. Look at me now.

I step in and look around.

The same as always.

Dirty.

I shiver praying I don't step into something unwanted.

I hop over spots that looked guilty of having something there.

When I reached the tub I lean over and turn the water on, I let the water run on my hand until it reached the perfect temperature.

I set the towel near the tub and go check on Ravi.

He was rubbing his face and getting undressed. I turn on my heel and just walk to the living room. Surprisingly Ravi's dad was awake and watching tv. When he sees me his face goes white, like if he just saw a ghost and he'd rather be dead than be in the same room as me.

I bow and smile.

"Hello, good morning, did you sleep well?"

"Yes. What about my son?"

I gulp.

"A little drunk. But he slept in alright." I was hoping he'd loosen up a bit and smile but he nodded firmly and turned to the tv.

I turned and walked towards the kitchen where Majoon leaned on the counter writing things on a mini notebook.

"Need help?"
