He walked me in bitter silence to his house. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Ravi blasts the front door open and stomps to a room. He paused before opening the door.

"Brace yourself.."

I sighed and nodded.

"Im ready."

He opened it and immediately a bitter smell trailed up my nose. Smoke bubbled out, there was so much smoke you actually couldn't see anything in the room. As the smoke snaked out, the room became outlined. Bodies cramped at every corner.

Someone clapped and an eerie silence arose. Ravi stepped forward and toppled over a bottle and let it spill all over the floor.

"Hey..." He said looking around.

I gulped and took in the type of people. Some looked like pedestrians where as others had the gangster look. I took a staggered step backward when I saw a gun just laid loosely on a coffee table. Ravi turned around and gave me an exhausted look.

"This is the part where you run away Ajejin."

A lump formed in my throat and all I could do was stare and take in everything of the room. All males, some bruised, others snickering, and Eric sat tilting his head confused. I glance back at Ravi. It all clicked together. Ravi's in a gang. The room already small, began caving in on me. My head spun and I tugged at my hair roots. I looked around frantically not knowing what to do.

"YES DAD!" I said taking one last bite of my cereal.
"Also, don't forget your basketball practice, hmm?"
"Alrighhhht!" I said getting up and taking my backpack. A small lie wont hurt a bug, Ive been skipping practice. The sport is just not my thing. It was a dewy morning, sun hidden behind the clouds. Faint fog hung low. I took in a deep, jagged breath. Time to face another day.

Seungri popped out behind my gate startling me.

"you scared me!"

He laughed continuously as he opened the gate for me. I shook my head stepping out.

"I'm sorry.." He grinned.
"Fine. Lets go then." I clutched my backpack as we walked.
"Oh, have you asked Ravi about the work?"
I freeze and feel my throat go dry.
"No, not yet."
"Jeez, why? Its been a week!" He squeaked.
"Fine I will."
"Thats what you said last time."
"Stop being so impatient! Who cares if we get an F."
"I care." He counter argued.
"You always do."
"You cant blame me for caring about my grades." He said getting angry. We always end up in a fight.
"Well you go hard-core on grades, loosen up."
"I want to be someone in life okay?" He zipped open his backpack and took out his phone.
"Why don't you ask him?"
"He wont listen to me, he only listens to you."

I went silent. He sighed and dialed in numbers. His phone rang and rang, on the third ring the person answered, Seungri put it on speaker.

"Hello?" A drowsy voice answered. The voice dark and smooth.
"Ah, hello." Seungri said. "Good Morning Wonshik."
Ravi hissed.
"Ugh, not the grade thing again?!"
"Im passing Ayejin to you."

He handed the phone to me. I sighed angrily flaring my nostrils. I took the phone and turned off speaker mode.

"Hello."
"What?"
"Did you finish your side of the h-homework?" I nibbled on my lower lip.
"No."
"Well do it cause mommy Seungri wants an A."
"No."
"Please. Seungri wont stop nagging at me. Do it for me."

Silence.

"Oh.. I mean.. Don't do it then. Bye." I hung up and handed the phone back to Seungri. "You asked me to just ask him, not to actually get it. So my work here is done." I grumbled stomping away.
