Dim the light
On this special night.
The show's about to start!
The pianist plays,
In all of these ways.
A heartfelt work of art!
The machines they run,
A man with a gun,
The lady plays her part!
These two young teens,
They act out the scenes,
Just like the rehearsal's call.
She holds so still,
This music chills,
As her life will crumble apart.
She takes her last breath,
Waiting for her faked death.
This modern day MacBeth!
Her five seconds of fame,
They'll remember her name!
This actress is a show stopper!
He'll fire a round,
Her body hits the ground,
But she lies in a pool of blood.
The audience goes silent,
Horrified and scared.
The actor can't move and looks impaired.
"She's dead!" Someone screams,
That was a real gun!
Someone replaced it with the fake one!
The playwright stands up,
Sweating with fear,
Get up!
This isn't happening!
Stop faking it my dear!
Lying still, her body turns blue.
The playwright goes insane,
What the hell did I do?!
I'm done!
It's over!
I can't take anymore!
Everyone leave!
I need them to go!
Close the curtains!
Stop the show!
