Friendships may never die,
But they can be broken apart,
For extended periods of time.
The subtly of this broken heart
Can define my rights from wrong.
Who is truly right,
In a world that feels so wrong?
So cold,
I will admit,
I don't want to be right,
But I don't want to be wrong.
I wish we could agree on a middle ground
And stop this once and for all.
I hate this silence once again.
I feel like it happens all of the time.
My friend,
Where will we end up?
If we keep this up?
I do not know,
But it's a scarier place
And I don't want to go.
So maybe,
Just maybe,
Someday soon I can make this right again.
Since this is worse than misery.
I guess the saying is, come hell or high water,
But I'm trudging through both at once.
