How lost can we still be
In this wasted land of misery.
Fairy tales misguided and led astray.
I've hung a noose to catch my prey.
Dreams all collected and beaten to death.
My hope, underwater, ran out of breath.
Blend into madness.
Wipe your tears, suck in your sadness.
Stand up straight, like this!
Grin wide and cover your wrists.
Act like nothing bothers you.
All of your lies stay true.
Stay positive through it all,
But come out barely breathing at all.
Tell me all over how you hate me so.
Point me in the direction you want me to go.
Send me off to be alone.
Trapped on an island isolated and unknown.
Venture out if you dare.
Be brave, if you care.
Or leave me stranded and gasping for air.
Living through my nightmare.
Lose your words like I lost hope.
Suffocated our memories and tightened this rope.
Your last words will haunt my mind forever.
Two halves that were severed can never be put back together.
"I loved you for who you were.
Not for who you are.
I needed you for who you were.
Not for who you are...
You monster."
