"YOU IDIOT!! YOU MORON!! I GAVE YOU ONE JOB, JUST ONE, AND YET YOU STILL MANAGE TO MESS IT UP!!", I roared into Nicholas' face, my fists full of his hoodie. He didn't even flinch, this was getting out of hand and if it wasn't controlled immediately... There was the T.V. blaring with a news reporter announcing the murders of several gangsters over night.

"I did the damn job, are you blind? I killed that guy just like you told me to!", he yelled.

"You call that getting the job done? You dragged a dozen gangsters down with him you dipshit! And for what? Money? Drugs? I can get you those things, there was no need for that massacre!!", I yelled and shoved him. I grabbed his jaw and yanked his head in the direction of the news.

People were buzzing about the warehouse doing their various jobs. Only one or two of the scientists or doctors dared to look up at me.

"Nobody is going to miss them.", he basically growled.

"No? How do you think I get all of this money? BY HELPING THOSE GANGSTERS AND EARNING PART OF THE DAMN POT!", I screeched before turning around and running rugged hands through my hair.

I couldn't have those gangs thinking I was selling them out, that I was killing them off. I felt my grip on the situation slowly slipping away from me. I composed myself and turned to face Nicholas who now looked like he could care less about what I was about to say.

"I am willing to give you one last chance, but you are not allowed to mess it up. If you make a scene out of the task I'm going to give you in any way, shape, or form, you are dead. Do you understand, D.E.A.D.? I will have your head on a damn platter.", I said through gritted teeth.

"Jeez, knock it off with the theatrics already. What the hell is it?", he said irritated.

"There is a guy I need you to get information from, if you need to, rough him up a bit but do not kill him. And I do not want to see anything about this in the news. Here's all you need to know.", I said as I slapped the file that was on a nearby desk into his open hand.

"It'll get done.", was the few words he said before leaving the warehouse. I dialed a few numbers and put the phone up to my ear.

"Get me Hernandez now."

Calista's P.O.V.

I quickened my pace down the busy street. I had found a job at a nearby coffee shop and miraculously decided that I would walk there on my own. My feet were weaving me through all the people trying to make it to work on time. My hair was whipping about me from the hot wind, I was gradually getting more aggravated each second. After another block I finally reached the coffee shop. After getting settled a co-worker showed me the ropes and I began my first day of work.

People came and went along with their business, I could get used to a normal routine like this. The aromas of rich coffee and sweet pastries were comforting. I began to serve the next customer when I looked up and froze. My heart was the only thing I could here as I stared across the street at a pair of familiar brown eyes stared at me.

"Ma'am?", the customer said snapping me out of my trance.

"Oh yea. Here you go four fifty please.", I said quietly, I looked back up and Nick was gone.

'God', I sighed inwardly. I thought I was done being paranoid, my hands and mouth kept mechanically serving customers. But those chocolate eyes had me spooked, in the back of my mind I knew that Nick was going to get me back some way. He was never the most forgiving person. Nick could hold a grudge and he always made sure that whoever had crossed him got theirs. He always had to prove himself and make a point.
