It was our wedding day. Kelly did try her hardest to make sure this looked like some sort of a wedding. My brother's and parents were going to be there. We were having it at Luke's house. Kelly helped get me a cheap nice cute dress. We had flowers and things set up. School started in only 4 days. The marriage license was already signed and everything for a few days now so I have technically been a Bryan for a few day.

My mama is starting to come around. She seems pretty happy today. I am happy for that. Pa looks like he normally does when he is at weddings. Straight face and his arms in his pockets. My brothers seems to care less except for Trevor and Dan.

I do have more people in my family like a couple cousins with their parents. Luke has a few more people on his side. I kind of like the idea of this bigger wedding but I hate it at the same time. I look around to some people and know that they are judging me in a not so great way. I know I got pregnant as a teenager but y'all's are now family. Why are you trying to be not so nice to me? I made a mistake and I'm going through with my consequences.

I was standing on the porch out front to gain my bearings. I felt a hand on my shoulder and it made me jump. I didn't hear any footsteps or the door open. I must of really been in my thoughts. I looked over to see my brother Dan. He smiled at me and opened his arms. I went in for the hug and he put his hand on the back of my head. Holding me close.

"It's okay. You look too stressed for it to be your wedding day little sis." Dan said with a chuckled.

"I just see so many people with judging looks on them. They know I'm pregnant and marrying someone who hardly knows me and I hardly know him." I told Dan.

"Screw them. The only people that matter are the ones that will stick with you through everything, and your husband. You don't need to stress. You are carrying my niece of nephew. I want you happy and healthy so I can take that one fishing once it can hold a pole." Dan said. I laughed and pulled away . I looked up at my brother and smiled.

"You and Trevor are my go to guys. Y'all's better believe I will still run to you two for advice." I told him. He smirked and nodded.

"No matter what you are the baby sister. Remember when You, Trevor and I use to run off and go away from the family? We would find the flint river and walk it for hours even after hours. I would get in so much trouble because I was taking my 6 year old sister out with out notice. It was past dark and something bad could of happened to you. When I told them the reason is that Pa was yelling too much, was too drunk, or was too much of a dick I'd get hit and told that I can't speak that way. I deal with the family I was given because I can't choose who my family is. I'd still do it to this day. Trevor took over more since he is around you more and I'm always busy but you know I love you little sis. Now come on out back. The wedding should be starting soon. I want to see you smiling walking down the isle with Pa. I want to see you get married to what seems like a good guy. Now I'm going to put the fear of god into him before so he knows who's sister he is messing with." Dan said. I shook my head and smiled.

I followed him through the house to get to the back but I was stopped by Leclair who was next to my mother. They wanted to comment on how nice I looked in the dress. I looked out the back window and saw that Dan was in fact talking to Luke. Pa was walking inside when Leclair was saying how nice this was going to be.

Pa looked over at her like he hated it but didn't say anything. Mama kept her mouth shut and just smiled to Leclair. He looked over to me and said everyone else is ready. The two mothers hugged me and went outside. I just looked at my Pa and saw he wasn't the happiest of people to be here. I wish he was since he is my father and is the one giving me away. It's not like I chose to get married; he is the one forcing this.
