Luke and I are getting ready for our first day of our junior year. I had a nice shirt on while putting on shorts. I looked at myself in the mirror and thought about how in months I wouldn't be able to fit in my jeans, and my shorts. How my shirts won't cover my stomach.

Luke and I have decided not to tell anyone about me being pregnant. His family and mine are basically the only ones to know. Minus a friend or two of Luke's. Since I have been hanging out with Luke I hardly have talked to any of my friends.

I felt two arms go behind me which made me look up and see Luke rest his head on my shoulder. My smile grew and I turned my head to kiss him.

"You ready for the first day to start?" Luke asked me and then backed away. I slowly nodded.

"Yes and no. I want more of summer to keep going. Then I think about the sooner we start school the closer we will be to finish and the sooner the baby will be here." I told him. He smiled at me in the mirror then looked down.

"I wonder when people are going to figure it out." He asked. I shrugged and turned around. I went and got my backpack off of the bed and put it on.

"Who cares? I have a feeling some people will be shocked, some people will hate it, some people will be joyful and others won't care." I told him.

"As long as we both are happy, and the baby is healthy along with you that is all that matters." He told me.

We both grabbed everything we would need and headed downstairs to Leclair. She had breakfast made for us already. We ate and she asked us how excited we were for school to start again. Soon we were out of the door and in Luke's truck heading to Lee County High.

Once Luke pulled into the parking lot I could see a lot of people I knew and partied with in the beginning of the summer. Luke got into his spot and parked. I took a big breath. I grabbed my schedule and book bag and hopped out. Luke came around and grabbed my hand so we could walk to our lockers.

We were there slightly early so we could find that and get to our first class early. He had his first class with me this half of the year. We got the same lunch and gym at the end of the day. I only had two classes away from him. Next half of the year we got to wait for our schedule then. Our lockers were also placed next to each other because they go in alphabetical by the last name.

On our way to the lockers Luke's one good friend Michael. Who we call Carter. He saw us and left the group of people he was talking to. Luke stopped outside the door of the school to wait up for him. He was one of the only friends who knew about the baby. He also was at the wedding since he has been a friend of Luke's for a while.

"Hey Luke and Nicole." Carter said with a huge wide smile. He was always funny and joyful to be around.

"Hey Carter." Luke said giving him a bro hug.

"Hi Carter." I said sweetly as he came and hugged me lightly.

"Ready to rock out this year?" Carter asked. We all laughed and nodded.

"Hopefully it goes smoothly but the end of the year is going to be stressful." Luke said looking down at my stomach then back to Carter. He looked confused then realized what he was talking about.

"Oh yeah. I can imagine man. Just remember I'm here for help and support. You two are awesome friends." Carter said. "Let's go see if our lockers are together again." Carter told us and opened the door. Luke let me walk through first before he did.

"What classes do you have Carter?" I asked. He took his backpack off his back and opened it. It was full of papers already. He almost walked into three people by time Luke and I got to our lockers which were right next to each others. I couldn't help but laugh. Since Carter was able to stop he found his paper.
