I woke up pretty early in the morning. I looked over at the alarm and it was 6 in the morning. Luke was still asleep on his back with his arm over his eyes. The sun was shining through our bedroom window. I quietly got out of bed and went to grab clothes. I went to the bathroom so I could start my day. I got dressed and brushed my hair. I put on deoderant and perfume. I was very concious on how I smelled ever since someone said a pregnant woman has a certain smell.
I left the bathroom feeling pretty well. I talked to Danny as I walked down the hall. I made sure to do it quietly. I did not want to wake anyone who was still trying to sleep. When I got down the steps I headed towards the kitchen to see Mama Bryan sipping on her coffee. She looked over and smiled. I smiled back and went to make myself a cup of tea.
Her and I got into this routine in the mornings. I would wake up after her and make myself a cup of tea. She would hand me a part of the paper and would read the other. We would switch as long as we were not interupted. If we had a lot to do that day we would talk for a little then go do what we had to. My days are becoming less and less being done.
I am able to fold clothes still but Luke won't let me get the bucket, do the laundry, or bring it upstairs. I can only fold the clothes. I started doing them in the babys room because the changing table is perfect height. I am able to help with meals and sweep but not excessively. Since I have had the contractions Luke and everyone keeps a special eye on me.

Today is a little different. I got my tea but when Isat down Mama Bryan got up. I looked at her confused and she smiled and went to the fridge.

"What would you like for breakfast? Chocolate pancakes or waffles? Fruity pancakes or waffles? Eggs, Bacon, hashbrowns, sausage, english muffin, or how about french toast?" She said turning and looking at me. I was brought off because we would normally wait for people.
"Umm... What do you..." I started to say but she cut me off.
"It is your day. you do not get many like these. Now choose. Everyone has to eat what you want today. It is your brithday sweetheart. Happy Birthday." She smiled.
"How about you suprise me on my birthday? Everything you make is so good. I could eat all of it." I told her. She smiled.
"One special Birthday Bryan breakfast coming up." She said grabbing stuff after stuff not letting me help. I could read the paper and drink my tea.

I was looking at the paper when I heard foot steps behind me. Someone put their hands on my shoulders and rubbed them. I looked back seeing Luke in his shirt and boxers. He went to the fridge and got out the orange juice and poured himself some. He offered me some but I declined. He looked at what his mom was cooking and smiled.

"Mama you're making the birthday special." Luke looked over at me. "Happy Birthday baby." He came over and kissed me.
"Thank you." I smiled sweetly.
"She could not decide so why not stick with a tradition. I always make this for you kids or your pa." Mama Bryan said.
"You will love it. Trust me. I can't wait for it every year." Luke said sitting down. He then looked at me. "What do you want to do today anyway?" He asked. I shrugged.
"Hang around. Take it easy. See my family and yours."I told him. He nodded.
"We can do all of that. I just need to run some arrives first. Would you want to join me. You need to get out the house more. Plus I can see my beautiful wife all day." Luke said with a huge smile. Showing his beautiful white teeth glisten in the morning suns rays.
"I will join you." I told him. Then hear someone speak.
"Birthday Breakfast!" I heard Chris say happily. We all looked at him and he smiled. He was in his jeans and shirt. No shoes though. "Happy Birthday Nicole." Chris said kissing the top of my head.
"Thanks Chris." I told him. He nodded and went over to kiss his mama's cheek.

The boys talked for a little then Mama Bryan came over with a plate. It was stacked. I looked at it. There was toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, and a waffle. She had it where the eggs were sunny side up in heart shapes in the toast. The back was in between the two pieces of toast. Then the sausage on top with the waffle and syrup dripping down it. Butter was also on top.
