Before I start I just want you to know that I update my stories a bunch on the weekends, like a couple of times a day, then barely at all on the weekdays.  So if  you really want to get into this I'd suggest checking on the weekends mostly. Anyway, let's begin.

"Come on Brendon there is no way Jackson an-"

"Hey Dyl, hey Brendon!" I said.

"Hey Carmon." Dylan replied nervously.

"Well are we ready to go?" Jackson asked.

"Yah let's go!" I exclaimed.

We began to ride off.  We started out in total silence. Not that it was awkward, I mean we're best friends, but it was kind of boring. Honestly I don't think we were talking because we were scared. We were already a few miles from home and we still had a while to go.  You see, Emberron is out in the middle of no where. If something happened and if our phones were dead, no one would be able to help us.

I decided to break the ice by asking, "So what do you think it is we're trying to find?"

"Maybe it's Echo?" Brendon suggested?

"Nah, it's probably something our parents forgot, like another Echo." Dylan said

"What do you mean?" Jackson asked.

"I mean that maybe there was another alien, like Echo, that our parents didn't notice."

"Maybe. Don't you guys think it's kind of weird how right after we watched the video our phones barfed.  Like why didn't anyone else's phones barf and how come it was right after we watched the video?" I asked.

"Maybe since we're their kids that when we watched the video they sent a signal to our phones to get us to finish what our parents started?" Jackson proposed.

"But didn't they finish." Brendon worried

"Well, they might have eft behind a second ship and another alien needs help getting it." Jackson answered.

"Well all I know is that we are riding out into the middle of no where, and we don't even know what we're looking for." Brendon was starting to freak out, "What if it's just someone who wants to kill us, or what if there's nothing even there or-"

"Brendon! Chill!" Dylan shouted.

"Look guys, I know this is scary, I'm scared to death to, but we have to keep it together. We are already half way there and it's to late to turn back now, so let's all just calm down." I said

"Carmon's right we need to pull it together. Let's just do this." Jackson said.

Jackson slowed down behind the boys and began to ride next to me, "Did you say you were scared?"

"Yeah, a little."

"Why?" He asked me.

"Something might hurt us." I answered.

Jackson got a serious look on his face and stopped his bicycle so I stopped mine. He grabbed my hands and said, "I promise  I won't let anything or anyone hurt you. I don't care if it's the president of the United States I will protect you."

"Thanks." I said blushing.

That's when we noticed Brendon and Dylan laughing at us.

"Oh stop it!" I hollered at them and hopped on my bike and began peddling at the same pace as Jackson.

"Maybe he does like me," I thought, "or he just wants to protect you because you're a girl." Not that I'm complaining.
