Earth to Echo 2: The Next Generation

Chapter 2

"So does anyone even know what their videos are called?" Brendon asked.

"No. Maybe he just used Tucker Simms." Jackson suggested.

We were all sitting around the computer at my house trying to find the videos.

"Nothing's showing up." Dylan said.

"Oh, I know! Didn't everyone call him Tuck back then, not Tucker?"I asked.

"Yeah I think so I'll try that." Brendon said as he was typing. And sure enough it came up.

"Click on that one." I said.

"Which one?" Brendon asked.

"The one that says echo."

He clicked on the video and it began, "Hey hey Tuck, dude."

At first it was kind of sad because they had to leave their house because of a "freeway" being put in, but as the video continued we realized really it was because of an alien named Echo. There were a lot of funny parts like when Brendon's dad started freaking out and thought that Echo was a bomb. And some awkward parts like when My dad and Jackson's mom were in the bathroom together. It was also kind of scary too. When the video was over though, something happened. Our phones barfed.

If we hadn't watched the video we wouldn't think anything of it, but now..

"Guys, we have to do this." Dylan said

"I'm with Dyl, maybe our parents forgot something or maybe... Echo's back." I said.

"Wait hold on let's think this through. When this happened to our parents they got maps on their phones." Jackson explained.

"Well then what is it a map of?" I asked.

"Already on it." Brendon announced, "Woah!"

"What is it?" Asked Dylan.

"It's a map of Mullberry Woods but it's showing directions to Emberron." Brendon explained.

"That's like 30 miles away!" I said maybe a little too loudly.

"Well I wanna do this who's with me?" Dylan said.

"I'm in." I said.

Jackson was looking around uncomfortably and he said,"I really wanna do this, but we're gonna be gone for about two or three days and I don't know if I can leave my mom alone that long."

I understood why Jackson would be so worried. Since his dad left them it would probably scare his mom half to death if he left to.

"How about if we can come up with a good enough plan you'll come?" I suggested.

"Yah I guess so." He said

" Guys do we really want to do this. I mean what if this isn't what we think this is and if it is, did you see how many times our parents almost got killed?" Brendon exclaimed.

" Come on Brendon. Please!" Dylan begged.

"Alright , alright. I'll do it." He said defeated.

"Yes! Let the planning begin!" Dylan shouted.
