Chapter 1

"Carmon, It's time to get up!" I heard my Dad shout from downstairs.

"Ugh." I moaned as I reluctantly got out of bed.

I walked over to my dresser and turned on "Opposite Sides" by the Manchester Orchestra and slipped on my Twenty One Pilots shirt, a blue flannel and some ripped jeans. Then I threw on some blush, mascara, and lipstick. I never liked to wear a lot of makeup not that there's anything wrong with that though.

I ran downstairs, put my Converse on, and began to walk out the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" My Dad asked.

"Uh, school." I replied.

"Not without breakfast you're not."

"Come on Dad I just want to go hang out with the boys." I moaned.

"You mean Jackson, Dylan, and Brendon?" He asked

"Yeah."

"I was good friends with their parents you know. I still am"

"I know you told me that story a hundred times. You were all best friends, but you had to move away for some reason, but you came back and it's very interesting how we all became friends," I guess it is kind of strange how we all became friends, but that wasn't the point, "Can I please go to school, I promise I'll get breakfast there."

"Alright fine, But if your Mom checks your account and it doesn't show up your in big trouble."

"Ok Bye!" I said as I ran out the door.

at school

"I know it's stupid, but she's really pretty and I really like her." I heard Jackson say as I walked over to our table.

"What's stupid?" I asked.

Jackson's eyes got really wide and Brendon started giggling. Finally Dylan said,"He was just talking about some girl. I don't really know her."

"Oh who was it?" I questioned.

"Like I said, just some girl, I think she goes to another school." Dylan replied.

"Oh."

I was kind of hoping he was talking about me. I'm not gonna lie I kind of have a crush on Jackson.

"Did you guys know that when our parents were our age that they recorded video's of themselves and put them on youtube?" Brendon asked us.

"Oh yeah, My dad was obsessed with videography and stuff like that."Dylan said.

"You mean like you Dyl?"Jackson teased.

"Oh shut up Jackson."

"Hey maybe when schools over you guy's could come over to my house and we could watch them?" I suggested.

"Sure let's do it." Jackson answered.
