I am so sorry for not writing for so long!! I was actually thinking about deleting the story but I decided to keep writing so here you go. OH and I know I said I wouldn't change the point of view but I am going to just this once.

Jackson's POV

"Grab the kids!!" One of the construction worker shouted.

"Come on Carmon!" I shouted as I grabbed her arm.

We dodged the construction workers and climbed a tree and hid out of sight.

"Jackson, we've got to go back for Lynx!" Carmon shout whispered.

"We can't! We could get caught and who knows what they would do to us! Plus I'm sure Dylan or Brendon has her." I assured her

She tugged at my shirt, "Please Jackson!"

I pushed a strand of her light brown hair behind her ear and stared at her with my hands still on her face, "Alright I'll go, you stay."

I jumped out of the tree and heard her shout, "No Jackson! Don't leave!"

I promised I would protect her and I am.

Carmon

He was gone. He disappeared. I wanted to cry.

He had been gone for more than 30 minutes and I already missed him.

I missed the way his blonde hair was always spiked up a little in the front so I could see his dark blue eyes that reminded me so much of the night sky. I missed his adorable smile that made me melt. I missed the way he pulled me into a hug when I was scared or feeling down. I even missed his quirky little dance he did every time he made a touchdown in football.

Yeah sure it's a lot of feelings for a 13 year old girl to have for a boy who wasn't even her boyfriend. Which reminds me, what do I say to him asking me?

I want to say yes so so bad. Although this could ruin our friendship. On the other hand it could strengthen it. UGH! Why are boys so complicated.

Suddenly I heard a rustle in the bushes below me. I looked down and there he was, Jackson.

I jumped down and landed in his arms.

"Woah there." He said as he put me on the ground.

I looked around and saw only Dyl was with us.

"Where's Lynx and Brendon?" I asked.

"Well They took Lynx and Brendon jumped in their truck, but we still have the piece." Dylan said as he held up the piece.

"We got more pieces on it too. Apparently the workers had some of them." Jackson mentioned.

I stared into Jackson's eyes, his dark blue eyes, and said one word, "Yes."

"What do you mean?" He said confused .

"Yes Jackson, I'll be your girlfriend."

Then he kissed me.
