Puppy Love

Jessica's POV
Calum and I walked up to my room, I hadn't told anyone this but Sam but I had a slight crush on Calum. Slight meaning I wanted to jump on his lap and tell him was mine, Sam has told me she thought Calum had eyes for me I secretly hoped she was right. I opened the door and let Calum go in first before I shut the door, I hadn't had a "real" guy come into my room in so long. "Real" meaning besides Alex and the others, I sat next to Calum on my bed. "..so...how have you been?" Calum said pausing a bit. "Good besides living with four idiots, good how about you?" I said with a light chuckle. "Yea same here, you know besides living with 3 idiots." he replied mocking me. We both laughed and I turned to him, his eyes were so calm and warm. He looked into my eyes, which caused me to blush and look away.

Calum's POV
Jessica's eyes shined with admiration, I looked back at her. She lightly blushed and looked at the ground, god she was so cute. "Jess...i-i was wondering...if you wanted to go ...on a date with me?" I said while scratching the back of my neck. She turned to face me and I swear her eyes shined brighter than ever before. "I would love to Cal." she said grabbing my hands for reassurance. Without thinking I grabbed her face and kissed her.

*Meanwhile*
Samantha's POV
Luke and Arzaylea were at my front door, "Hey guys come in." I said with a smile, this was extremely uncomfortable and awkward but I didn't show it. They both walked in and sat on the couch, Isaac and Michael both shot me confused looks and I replied with a shrug. "Do you guys want anything to drink." I asked two very confused teenage boys and an awkward couple. "Yea,I'll help you out." Michael said while getting up and pulling me into the kitchen. "I swear I don't know why their here, sorry if this is awkward. Trust me it always is." he said half joking while glancing at the two on the couch. Isaac was making conversation and I was thankful for his "social" skills. "Don't worry about it Mike, the thing is that they're here. We're going to have to put that convo on hold until they leave, but until then we're going to hang out with then." I answered trying to reassure him that it was okay. He smiled and I handed him some glasses of water and we both walked back into the living room.

*30 minutes later*

We were currently watching a movie, Luke and Arzaylea were still over our place but I didn't mind. I was next to Michael, and Luke and Arzaylea were cuddled up on the other side of the couch. Michael put his arm around my shoulder but in a friendly way, I heard someone come down the stairs and I turned my head and saw Jessica and Calum. I nudged Michael and he saw them both, "Well look who decided to finally join us." he said to the both of them which made me laugh. I noticed that they both had their hands intertwined and I gave Jess a thumbs up and she rolled her eyes. They say down on the couch a few spaces away from Michael and I, I turned my head and saw Luke glaring at Michael and I. Arzaylea was asleep on his shoulder, why did he look so upset? I ignored him and looked back at the TV.

*30 minutes later*
Samantha's POV
Everyone was asleep except for me I couldn't fall asleep so I decided to get something to drink. I got off the couch careful not to wake up Michael who's head was on my shoulder. I moved his head and lowered it to a pillow that was next to me. I looked over at Jess and Calum who were cuddled up on the couch, I looked at the other side of the couch and saw Arzaylea asleep. Luke wasn't with her which surprised me, I walked into the kitchen I saw Luke sitting on one of the chairs drinking water. "You couldn't sleep too?" I asked Luke who looked in my direction while I opened the fridge door. "Nope, can I ask you a question?" he asked moving his cup a bit. I nodded while taking a sip of my water. "Do you like Michael?" he asked shifting in his seat. "No we're just friends, why?" I asked getting curious. "No reason, well...uh imma to go to sleep." he said while getting up and walking over to me. He hugged me and whispered, "goodnight." into my ear before walking back to the living room and laying down next to Arzaylea. Leaving me confused in a dark kitchen.
