Jessica's POV
"Maybe she's just a friend." I said doubtfully while turning my attention back to Sam who looked like she was about to be sick. For the past few months she she been telling me how her and Luke were getting close and how she had feelings for him. "Hey Sam....you okay?" I asked her, she looked at me blankly and nodded. "Hey guys, didn't expect to see you here." a familiar voice said I looked up and saw Luke with a girl next to him. Fuck. "Heyyyy Luke, Sam and I were just having lunch." I said with a smile while turning to Samantha. She had her head down, I couldn't believe this was actually happening. "Sam...are you okay?" Luke asked Samantha with a concerned look on his face, she simply lifted her head and smiled while nodding. The girl next to him hadn't said a word, I turned my gaze towards her. Luke seemed to notice, "oh right! Um...this is my friend Victoria" he said scratching the back of his neck. "Well it's nice to meet you Victoria, I'm Jessica and this is my best friend Samantha." I politely greeted her. "I-tt'ss nice to m-meet you." Samantha said with a small smile. Victoria smiled back and shook both of our hands. She was very pretty I had to admit I turned back to Samantha. My heart felt like it was about to burst she looked like she was about to break into pieces, I think she wanted that to happen at this point if I'm being honest. "Do you guys mind if we have lunch with you?" Luke asked both me and Samantha, this isn't happening right now I thought. Before I could answer Samantha spoke up. "No, you guys can have lunch with us." she said with a smile. I swear this girl was one of the weirdest and most complicated person on Earth. If I were her I wouldn't have taken this situation as good as she is right now, I would of grabbed my drink and poured it on Luke's head and run off.

*10 minutes later*

Our food got at our table and we started eating, Samantha was sitting across Luke and I across from Victoria. "So where did you guys meet?" Samantha surprising said in a calm tone, I bet she wanted to punch Luke in the face by now but it's not like she could reach his face. I mean she's like a smol bean;) compared to him. "We met in school, she was in my swimming class." Luke simply said. "Since then we've been friends" Victoria added with a smile.

Samantha's POV
What in the actual fuck is happening? Everything was fine and then Luke and some girl Victoria come in and piss on everything, ughhhhhhhhh. I wish Victoria could just float back to Australia and leave Luke and I alone. I thought to myself, "That's really nice." I replied with a fake smile. She's just a friend, she's just a friend. I kept saying to myself, I mean Luke wouldn't lie....right?
