Star Crossed

Cake: Part 2

Samantha's POV

Luke and I were running through the aisles of a supermarket looking for baking ingredients. We had all decided to have a baking competition, Jess and Calum on one team, Luke and I in another, and Michael and Ashton. Isaac, Emere,and Alex would be the judges.

"Where's the baking soda?!" Luke yelled from the other end of the aisle. I turned around and grabbed the small box of powder, I ran over to the cart and threw it in there. By now there was so many people looking at us but I couldn't have cared less, Luke and I were going to win.

*10 minutes later*

We were back at the tour bus bags filled with all types of ingredients. Luke and I had decided to make a marbled cake, it shouldn't be too hard. With 4 other people in our small kitchen it was unsurprisingly crowded, we would be constantly bumping into one another.

Flour was all over the floor and tables, Ashton almost falling on Michael who was tieing his shoes. Luke was helping me mixing the cake batter while I poured the milk in, it was going pretty well so far. Besides Luke almost dropping the batter on the floor.

After pouring the batter into a pan I put the pan into the oven for it too bake, Mashton and Jalum following right behind us. (i didn't feel like typing all of their names). Now it was time to wait, Luke gave me a high five. "We're going to win this." he said before pulling me into a tight hug, "Yeah we'll see about that mate." Calum said his arm around Jessica.

*45 minutes later*

We were all watching Tv on the couch when we heard a song signalling that the desserts were done. Without any hesitation I ran towards the kitchen, everyone quickly following. I grabbed a pair of baking mits and carefully took out Luke's and I's cake, it was perfect. Now it was time to decorate.....
