43. Fallen Angel

I remember it so vividly. It was raining when Kakashi sensei brought back Naruto, who was passed out on his back. Without Sasuke.

I stayed in the hospital with him till he woke up. When he did, he apologized over and over again for not bringing him back.

"It's all right Naruto." I whispered. He glanced at me. "He chose revenge." Naruto hugged me and a single tear slipped down my cheek.

"I can't imagine the amount of pain your feeling Kiamie. You deserve so much more. I promise, I'll bring him back some day." I nodded.

Naruto and I sat in that hospital room, both of us crying. I had said goodbye and walked home after that, where I began packing my bag. New Years was in a few weeks, and I would be leaving.

I wanted to leave so bad. I couldn't stand being here any longer. Everywhere I went, everything I did reminded me of him.

It was killing me inside out.

I had gotten a letter from the Akatsuki, and I would be leaving in two days. I had two days to say goodbye.

Tomorrow would be my last day here, and I honestly had no idea how I felt.

I woke up feeling sad. I got dressed and headed out to say my goodbyes.

"Is Seiko home?" I asked her mom who had answered the door. "Seiko!" Her mom yelled.

Seiko walked to the door, her blue hair in a sloppy ponytail. She was wearing short shorts and a tank top.

"Kiamie, what are you doing here?" She asked smiling. "Jeez can't I come visit my best friend?" She smiled and went to go get dressed. I told her that I was getting the gang together to hang today, to get our minds off of Sasuke.

"That's a really good idea!" She chirped. We split up to go get everyone, where we would meet up at the park.

Kiba, Nari, Hinata, Shino, TenTen, Lee, Nenji, Shikamaru, Ino, Choji, Sakura, Naruto, Danin, Leo, and Kai all showed up along with Seiko and I.

"Who's up for volleyball?" I asked. "Count me in!" Nari said smiling. "Your on!" TenTen said smirking. "Let me show you girls how it's done." Danin said. "I'm in." Kiba said joining Danin's team. "Three on three, girls versus boys." Leo said. "You guys do realize it's December, right?" Shikamaru said looking at us like we where crazy.
I just shrugged and we set up.

TenTen, Nari, and I vs. Danin, Kiba, and Leo.

They came close, but in the end the girls won by two points. Hinata was sitting on the swing clapping, Seiko was in the sand box with Naruto building sand castles, Shino was leaning against a tree with Kai, while Nenji and Shikamaru played shoji in an attempt to determine who was smarter.

"I'm voting for Shikamaru!" I said coming to watch. "I'm voting on Nenji!" Lee said. Of course, Shikamaru won since he's a freaking genius. It was close though.

Everyone had come to watch the chess dual. We all clapped when the two shook hands to settle everything.

The day went by quickly. It actually started snowing around lunch, which was awesome. Because it snowed almost all day and at the end we had a huge snowball fight. I laughed and chucked a snowball at Naruto, and it hit him square in the back.

He turned around and saw me, a huge grin on his face as he threw one at me, that I barely dodged. I laughed and began stacking snow up in front of me to make a wall.

As I was doing that, I didn't notice Kiba get behind me with a giant bucket of snow, which he poured on me. I shrieked and turned around, glaring at him. He was laughing till I threw a snowball at him. "Revenge is mine!" I screeched throwing a snowball at a tree branch, causing all the snow to fall off the branch onto Kiba.

We both laughed and I saw Nari and Hinata making a snowman.

"Snowman making contest. Whoever makes the best snowman wins!" Just like that the snowball fight was over and everyone was making snowmen.

Almost everyone.

I looked at Seiko who had built an igloo just big enough for her. I laughed as she stuck her head out the door, her lips purple from being cold.

"I heard there was a class get together." We all turned to see Iruka sensei standing there with a thermos full of hot chocolate and paper cups.

"Thanks Iruka sensei!" We all said drinking the warm chocolate goodness.

Nari won the snowman building contest, because her snowman making skills are on point. Second place was Hinata, and third place was Kai.

Last place went to Seiko, because she didn't make a snowman. We all laughed and began heading home.

"Bye guys!" I yelled waving. They waved back and we all took off in opposite directions.

Goodbye guys, I'll miss you.

It was around ten when I snuck out the house with my backpack. I walked up the path that lead to the Hokage faces. I was going to meet up with Itachi and Kisame there.

"You actually came." Itachi said boredly, walking out of the shadows with Kisame. "I don't go back on my word, that's my ninja way." Naruto.

"Let's go, Leader-sama wants to speak with you as soon as we arrive." I nodded and we began our journey.
But as we walked through the snow covered forest of the land of fire, as we got closer to the border, I began to realize the truth of things.

As Haku had been a weapon to Zabuza, We are all weapons to the world. Some of us were powerful weapons, desired weapons that if fell in the wrong hands could destroy worlds.

I wasn't a person. I was a weapon. One that many people desired. And like Sasuke I had fallen into the wrong hands.

I would no longer be a person with feelings and thoughts, nor opinions.

I was a tool. A weapon.

In a way I was like an angel, but except I had fallen. Once I was innocent and kind, but now it's like I'm a completely different person.

I was a Fallen Angel.
