My life started 18 years ago, and was pretty boring for the most part.

I went to school, I studied hard, I got teased by the cool kids, but never let it effect me once.

Of course you can imagine that, if I was the nerd who walked the halls invisible, like most stories, there would have to be the captain of the football team, who ended up falling for me, right?

Wrong.

But there was a bad-boy at our school. He walked the halls like everyone else but the only difference was, is that he owned them. Not literally, but he got what he wanted, and if you pissed him off, well look out, he wasn't to be messed with. His name was Nate.

And I can honestly say that I avoided him at all costs, but one day, I closed my eyes for 2 seconds in the hallway, and felt my self being propelled backwards and landing on my ass.

I left my eyes closed, hoping I hadn't drawn attention to myself, but when I opened them, I found myself looking into a pair of green orbs.

I died a little bit on the inside when I recognized the face peering down at me.

Now Nate is not hot, he is drop dead gorgeous. And from my position still on the floor, I couldn't help but check him out.

Nate had black hair that he had spiked up and made it look like a tousled mess, but he pulled it off amazingly. He had green eyes with flecks of black around the outsides of them. His face was mark less except for a healed scar that ran through his right eyebrow. My eyes left his face and trailed to his arms, that had huge muscles that were straining against the fabric of his black shirt. His shirt fit him perfectly and was just tight enough to show his huge muscles underneath. He had faded black jeans on that fit him snugly.

My  mouth watering, my eyes returned to his face. To say that Nate Lightning was hot, was an understatement. More like a god. When I looked at his face, I quickly picked myself up off of the ground, my eyes never leaving his.

Once I stood up, I noticed that Nate towered over me. He must have been 6'2, and compared to my 5'3, he was huge.

"Name?" he asked. His voice was rough and cold, but still shocking to say the least. I had been expecting him to just walk away.

"Uhh, umm, what?" I stammered out after I had realized that I was probably starting to creep him out a bit, just starting at him, not saying anything.

"Well I'm assuming you have a name, and I would like to know it." He spoke again but this time there was a hint of amusement in his voice and playing in his eyes.

"Um Lydia." I answered tentatively.

He smirked and inched closer to me. He reached out and grabbed my hips in his huge hands and leaned down so his warm breath was tickling my ear.

"Well Lydia, if you weren't so hot, I probably wouldn't let you go so easily, but consider this a warning." he breathed.

I nodded quickly, not trusting my voice. And with that he was gone. He was walking down the hall in the opposite way he came from. I just stood there staring after him.

Hot? HOT? Nate Lightning thought I, Lydia Winters, was... HOT? Say what? I looked down at myself.

I had long blonde hair, that was now tied in a bun on top of my head. I had blue eyes, that my dad wanted to name me 'Lectric for because my eyes were electric blue with flecks of white in them. I had a few freckles, almost non-existent, peppering my nose and under my eyes. I had an okay chest, but I definitely did not flaunt it like some girls at my school. I wore a large baggy shirt to cover any curves that I may have. The only part of me that I liked besides my eyes, were my legs, they were long and thin, but I covered them with slightly big jeans. I had my belly button pierced one night on an impulse. It was a tiny diamond that had an anchor attached to the bottom. I also had 2 earrings in each ear.

I may be many things but hot was not one of them.

I sighed and gathered up my books and bag that had laid abandoned on the floor behind me.

As I began to think in my head what the hell had just happened, a voice appeared in my head.

"All able members of the half-moon pack, report to the pack house in 2 hours for a crucial meeting" The voice boomed in my head, hurting my ears.

I sighed. Oh well, Alpha Logan can write me a slip for the school excusing me from the rest of the day..... again.

2 hours? Just enough time to drive to the pack house and run upstairs and get changed for the meeting.

You see, my parents died when I was 5, so instead of going to a foster home, Alpha Logan had me living at the pack house. I have no family left.

I walked out through the front doors and walked to my truck.

Oh and there's one more thing that you should know.

I'm a werewolf. So is Nate
