July 2, 1916

"Today soldiers we're gonna teach you how to use the new artillery! Sargent, show'em how it works!" "Each of you will be split up into groups and shown how to you each weapon! Soldier with the last names starting with A-I, you're in group one, J-O group two, P-U, group three, and the rest of you are group four! Break into your groups and go to your station! "Looks like we're in the same group." I laugh a little dryly, "Yeah, I guess we are." "Alright soldiers listen up! In this station you will learn how to use rifles, pistols, and bayonets! Partner up and I'll give you your first weapon to use!" "I hope we get the rifle, what do you want?" "I don't really know to be honest." "Don't worry you'll figure it out soon enough." "You two, you have the rifle!" we both sullied him. "You ready to learn all these weapons?" "Not the slightest bit." He laughed and we both tuned in to what the Sargent was telling us on how to you the rifle.

5 Hours Later

After learning about the machine gun, bombs, rifles, pistols, bayonets, torpedoes, flame throwers, mustard gases, chlorine gases, and smokeless gunpowder the soldiers and I did some drills again, but in the rain this time. This was the last day of training, now they're sending us to were the real fighting happens. I hope Mother and Lillie are okay. I have avenge father, and I have to make it home, I promised.
