The boy saw me and took out his gun what I thought would end in blood just ended in him merely placing it on the floor. "Kick it over" I said with a questioning tone. I started to put away his gun into my pocket as I said "Got a name?" he didn't answer. I forgot about the huge space left after my door was kicked down. I quietly let the medal door unlock from above the door frame and onto the ground with out it making a loud enough sound that would attract lurkers. "Well if you don't got a name does she?" I focused my attention to the little girl in his arms "Judith" he said with a stern voice. "If your so into name sharing then what's yours?" he said.
I glanced at him "Don't just kick your way into my house and then be a smart ass." that surely shut him up but he never took his eyes off me. "Well why should I let you stay here?" I said. "Who said I ever wanted to stay?" He responded. "Listen, you came and slit my fence, kicked down my door, your here for a reason." "She wasn't breathing" he said while moving the girls hair out of her face. Silence filled the air like a disease "Is she okay? Does she need anything?" I asked. "She's fine." He became quite and reached for something in his pocket "I need to stay here." he said. "You can I just-" he took out a pocket knife and in one swift move I had my
Gun out and cocked back. He attacked me, his forearm pushing against my chest and then making me collapse to the floor. I kicked his leg out from under him and he hit the floor quickly banging his arm on the way down. His knife slid out of his hand and across the room. He started to get up and go for the knife but before he knew it his back was to the ground and I was on top of him. Pointing my gun to his face
I said "Nice knife pretty boy" I smirked and got off him going to pick up his knife. I could hear him breathing heavily but as he managed to get up he uttered "Carl" "I'm Carl." "Well nice to meet you Carl I'm Alice." After things calmed down I got out a water bottle and three small stirs foam cups. I poured water in it as Carl propped himself up on a wall and examined his arm. I came over with two full cups between my fingers and placed them down beside him and handed one to the little girl. In the most innocent voice the little girl said "thank you" I smiled at her and she took a small sip. Just as I was about to walk out of the front room out of the corner of my eye I saw the boy smile.
