From the inside of the large bubble of water, I could see a lot of the world that had been hidden down here for so many years. The trees were tall and wide, each one looking more magical then the next. Bird-like creatures of all different sizes and colors filled the air. Each one chirping beautiful songs that reminded me of the echoing sounds of water dripping into a pond.

I watched as a beautiful smoking grey and silver one with long, flowing feathers flew towards me. With every slow flap of its wings, it gracefully rose and fell in the air.

I watched it carefully. It's deep, amazingly human-like, silver eyes staring directly at me. I felt a shiver run down my back, it's sheik features coming off as very compelling. I couldn't take my eyes off it.

Within seconds, my limbs grew weak with a sudden gust of exhaustion. I kept my eyes on the bird that flapped only a foot away from me, the thin layer of floating water being the only thing between us. I felt tired, giving into the weakness of my body, causing me to slowly float down to the bottom of the watery cube. I looked down at my feet for only a brief second, telling them to swim and keep me from falling, but they barley fluttered in response. I felt the bird's deep eyes on me, seeming to push me down further.

A quiet ringing began to steam out of nowhere, drowning out all the other noises that I could hear. It gradually grew louder, consuming  me without warning.

I looked back up at the bird that flapped in place, locking its eyes on mine. My head grew weary as I felt the small waves of water slowly sliding past me. I closed my now heavy eyes, feeling myself sway to the bottom of the cube. A strange, peaceful feeling overwhelmed me, pressing me to relax. I listened to the ringing noise that seemed to cling to my ears, it sounding more muffled by the second, closing me inside it.

I felt a sort of happiness build inside me, calling me to follow the feeling. I wanted to fly along side of the bird. Leave everything behind me. Forget the Cliques, my mother, Amory, Chlorine. Just leave. I felt nothing. No care in the world. The ringing flowed through my ears like music and I allowed it to fill my head with song.

I felt like everything could be alright.

With a sudden snap, the ringing stopped and my eyes shot open.

What happened?

I watched just in time to spot the smokey grey bird as it was struck by a long wooden arrow. The arrow zipped right through the feathery thing and punctured the giant cube of water. I screamed in shock, silent bubbles leaving my mouth as I felt reality begin to come back.

The cube exploded almost instantly, water spraying in all directions.

I felt Chlorine's hands wrapped around my arms, holding me close as the water fell from underneath us. We locked eyes, fear visible in both of us as we let out loud shrieks. Just as the bird began to plummet lifelessly to the ground, we began to fall as well, our wet clothes, sticking to our bodies.

The wind rushed towards us for only a second before we came crashing into the tall trees, feeling their branches pull violently at our damp skin.

I closed my eyes, holding my hands out in front of me to bloke the harsh stings. Leaves of all different kinds tore at my face and hands, dragging against me with all the force they had. We grunted with every hit of wood, praying that the ground wouldn't be far from us.

I instantly tumbled out of the trees, jolting as the muddy ground found its way to my face. Water from the bubble joined me only seconds after, coating my already wet clothes.
