Chapter Five - Witches
Kayden's POV
"what happening!" I asked Jeremy and he looked just as shocked at me.
"This can't be, this hasn't happened in over a thousand years" Jeremy said shocked, what hasn't happened?
"Get away from her! Get away before she hurts you!" Jeremy ordered and pulled Whitney behind him, I moved back as she screamed and rose from the ground.
Her back arched as she screamed and lighting beams shot around the room from her body.
"She's the next chosen one" Jeremy whispered and I froze, Athena is the chosen one, which means she's the next element witch.
My mate, my fragile little mate is the most powerful human to walk this earth in a thousand years, her gift mixed with being a werewolf she's be unbeatable and also dangerous to get mad unless she learns to control it.
It was killing me not to comfort her, after she was placed back onto the ground. She laid there emotionless, I ran to her side
"Athena baby, open those beautiful eyes for me" I begged and lifted her head into my lap, her chest started to raise so she was breath, thank the lord. Jeremy was holding a scared and upset Whitney, she started crying when Athena screamed in pain, when will this stuff stop happening to my baby, she's already been through so much she doesn't need anymore things to hurt her.
Her eye's fluttered up, she shot straight up and looked around her.
"Where am I?" she growled and everyone's jaw's dropped, she just spoke!
"Athena" Whitney whispered and went to reach out to her, Athena didn't say anything she just looked around.
"You just spoke" Jeremy said and she frowned and cleared her throat
"Kayden" she whispered and I hugged her from behind, she sighed
"I've been wanting to say that ever since I learnt your name" she whispered and started coughing a little, a slight blush rose on her cheeks when she realized what she had said. I smirked and Jeremy laughed and she shot daggers at him which made Whitney laugh and Jeremy hold his hands up in surrender and chuckle a little.
I stood up; and held my hand out for her to take, she grabbed my hand and I lead her out side.
"Do you know, what just happened?" I asked and she shook her head 'no' I gulped
"do you believe in witches?" I asked and she thought about it.
"Yes, kind of" she whispered, well at least she kind of believes that their real.
"I only remember waking up and asking where am I" she said and sat down on the ground, I sat besides her and started explaining to her what happened.
