Chapter Sixteen - Good News

Athena's POV

"Babe? Are you okay?" Kayden asked from outside the bathroom door, I pushed the door closed and locked it.

I couldn't let him see me like this, it's six in the morning an I've been up since five o'clock.

I've been throwing up, I throw up again and I wipe my mouth and flush the toilet.

I splashed some water on my face and I brushed my teeth to get that vomit taste out of my mouth, I must have eaten something wrong these passed days.

I unlock the door to see a very worried Kayden standing there, once he notices me he rushes towards me

"are you okay?" He quizzes.

"I must have eaten something wrong" I tell him, Kayden begins to worry he runs downstairs and I hear things being moved around.

I walk into the spare bedroom to check on the twins, they're still sound asleep in their cribs.

They're such content babies, Whitney should be around at either seven or eight to pick up her little angles.

I take one of the baby monitors with me down stairs,

"Lenny will be around to check you over" Kayden tells me, I nod and decide not to fight with him over this.

I can't even look at food right now, it's makes me sick to my stomach.

I keep feeling Kayden's eyes on me, I know he's worried but he shouldn't be because it's probably nothing.

A knock on the door snaps me out of my thoughts, Kayden answers the door.

Lenny walks through, he asks Kayden to leave room.

"I need to ask you some questions" Lenny says and I nod.

"Have you and Kayden had sexual intercourse?" I flush at this question but I nod.

Lenny writes down on this board, I frown why would he want to know this.

"Have you been using a condom?" Oh god, I hate these questions.

I go back to how many times we've had sex, my face falls when I realise we haven't been using a condom several times.

Lenny reads the look on my face and writes stuff down, he doesn't ask me questions for a good two minutes and this makes me nervous.

"When was your last period?" I normally have my period on the 5th of every month, I look down at my phone and the date reads the 20th.

I've been so caught up in everything that's happened that I hadn't realised that I've missed my period by two weeks, I tell Lenny the information that he needed and asked.

"Athena, I'm going to need you to come back to the pack house" Lenny says and I nod, I walk upstairs to see Kayden feeding the twins. I nervously chew my lip,

"I've got to go to the pack house" I tell him, I tell him it's just for a check up and he calms down.

I change into some rugby shorts and a tank top, Kayden and I ride to the pack house.

I hold Adam in my arms, I tickle his little tummy and he giggles. I smile down at him, Kayden is holding baby Athena while Lenny drives.

I place Adam in his high chair, I follow Lenny up the stairs.

Lenny squeezes some gel on my tummy and moves this thingy around on my tummy, he moves it around some more and he smiles at the monitor.

He wipes the gel off of my tummy, I pull my tank top down and sit up.

"Athena, I'd like to congratulate you and Kayden; your having a baby" he tells me, every slows down and my vision is blurred. I'm pregnant, I'm eighteen and pregnant.

I've got so many emotions running through me right now, there's nervousness, regret, excitement, anxiety and love.

I regain my vision, I thank Lenny and I go back downstairs to see Whitney and Jeremy holding there babies.

"We've got great news" Whitney gushes and looks up and Jeremy lovingly, i smile at them.

They are truly the best couple, they are made for each other.

"We're getting married" Whitney exclaims, I do a little squeal and i pull her into a hug but I make sure I don't press against the baby, I do the same to Jeremy and I congratulate them.

"What are you guys doing here anyway" she asks, Kayden pulls me into his lap and I cuddle into him.

"Athena was vomiting this morning, so I rung Lenny and he asked her some questions and here we are" Kayden says.

"So babe, what did Lenny say?" Kayden asks me, i let out a nervous breath.

Jeremy and Whitney look at me worried, I move out of Kayden's lap so I could see him when I tell everyone.

"How do you feel about kids?" I ask him.

"I can't to start a family" he excitedly answers, this answers makes any of the horrible feelings I was feeling disappear.

"Guys, I'm pregnant"
