Athena's POV

When Kayden and I returned home, we were met at the front door by Jeremy. I smiled and ran and hugged him,

"Hey missy" Jeremy said and kissed the top of my head, I'm glad Jeremy's back but I knew what was coming. He was going to quiz me on my past, and he was probably going to ask me if I can show him my element powers.

"We've got bad and good news" I whispered, Jeremy asked about the bad news first. I told Jeremy everything in my past, I held Kaydens hand throughout the whole time I was telling Jeremy. I had to tell him that I didn't have my emotions under control, I knew by telling Jeremy this he'd tell the elders.

"We'll talk more tomorrow, But for now I'm going to take my mate and cuddle" Jeremy whispered and kissed the top if my head, Jeremy scooped Whitney up in his arms and went up stairs.

"You are so brave" he said and pecked my lips,

"i needed to tell you guys, you deserved to know who you're living with" I said with barely a whisper,

"hey! Don't think anything low of yourself, but I have a questions for you" he said, only if Kayden knew how hard it was to ignore the voices in my head that tell me worthless I am, it wasn't new voices it was the voice of my father and things he's done and said to me throughout my life.

"Athena, I know I've only known you for a month but will you be my girlfriend?" Kayden asked and nodded not being able to say any words, Kayden just asked me to be his girlfriend.

I pressed my lips against his, he pulled away with a smile on his face.

It's been a couple weeks since Kayden and I started dating and things are going so well, and besides Kayden and I Whitney tummy has grown so big. She's due to drop very soon,

"have you thought of any names?" I asked Whitney, she grinned

"sure have! For the boy, we've come up with Adam Lennix Knight (Jeremy took his grandfathers last name while Athena took her fathers) and for the girl, we decided to name her Athena Jade Knight" Whitney smiled,

"you're naming your daughter after me?" Tears of joy welled up in my eyes, I can't believe Whitney and Jeremy are naming their daughter after me.

"Thank you" I said and hugged Whitney, just as I hugged her Jeremy came down stars.

"What happened here?" Jeremy panicked when he saw the tears in my eyes, I quickly moved towards him and tackled him into a hug.

"What'd I miss?" Jeremy said Shockingly, I smiled up at him

"you're naming your daughter after me" Jeremy hugged me back, I can't believe their naming their little girl after me. The day passed by with laughter and happiness, Kayden, Jeremy, Whitney and I all sat outside watching the sunset talking about everything and anything.

"Guess who's eighteen tomorrow" Kayden said with a hint of excitement in his voice, I frowned and tried to thinks who's birthday it is tomorrow.

"Are you serious Athena?" Whitney asked me,

"I seriously don't know who's birthday it is tomorrow!"

"It's yours!" Kayden yelled, I tensed up. Nobody has ever cared about my birthdays, I've never been wished happy birthday since my mother died.

"Nobody has ever cared about my birthday" I said emotionless, I placed rocks around my hand I twirled my hand around and watched the rocks spin around like a cyclone.

My thoughts got the best of me as I floated on top of the air, I had replaced the rocks with air. I sighed and brought myself back down to ground.

"That's the thing Athena, you're not eighteen tomorrow, you're nineteen tomorrow, I think your father may have cared for you a tiny bit to keep your proper age hidden" My head snapped towards Jeremy and Whitney, my father caring about me? What a joke that has to be.
