Chapter Nine - Birthday party

Athena's POV

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I jolted awake to yelling, a big smile spread across my face. Whitney, Jeremy, Kayden and my grandparents stood around my bed they held a cake in front of them. "Thank you guys!" I said after they sang 'Happy Birthday' to me, I blew out my candles and grinned at them all. Nonno & Nonna handed me a small rectangle box, I unwrapped the wrapping and opened the box. I gasped, Sitting in the box was a silver chain with a sapphire pendant on the chain.

"It's beautiful" I gushed and hugged them both, Nonna smiled at me "it's was your mothers" Whitney handed me a present, it was a small box, I unwrapped the wrapping paper. A blush creeped to my face, I slapped Whitney on the arm when I saw that she had gotten me condoms.

"Here's your real present" Jeremy said and handed me a box, if these are more condoms I'm going to through them at him, I unwrapped it and opened the box. It was a pair of keys, I looked up at Jeremy "go and look outside!" Jeremy grinned at me, I pulled my tank top down and rushed down the stairs and out the front of the house, I let out an excited squeal when I saw the new car that was mine.

"Thank you!" I screamed and jumped on Jeremy to hug him "your the best brother ever!" I tell him, he chuckles and I turn to Whitney "and you, you bitch thank you!" I laughed and pulled her into a hug, I turned to Kayden he was holding a little puppy "happy birthday babe" Kayden said and handed me the little brown bullmastiff puppy, "oh my god!" I whispered, this is probably the excited I've ever been in my life. I nuzzled the puppy and he excitedly jumped around in my arms, I laughed and held him out in front of me "I'll name you, Judge because you'll be the judge of everything" I tell Judge the puppy, he barks which makes everyone laugh.

"You've got one more present in your room" Kayden says to me and wraps his arms around me and the puppy "oh just give him so loving already sis!" Jeremy laughs and I fake glare at him, I lean up and give Kayden a kiss one of those passionate kisses, Kayden and I have gotten passed the French kissing and stuff, we've even touch we'll he's touched me and I've only give him a hand-job.

"Now that's enough!" Jeremy said and I pulled away from Kayden and laughed "thank you baby"

"Can you take Judge, I just want to show Kayden something" I said to Whitney, she took Judge from me and I grabbed kayden's hand "condom's! Uses the condom's!" Whitney yelled to me, I ignored her and carried on up the stairs.

"Thank you for everything!" I said to Kayden once I closed the door, he stepped towards me and his body was pressed up against mine. "I love you Athena" he whispers and his pupils dilate, "I love you" I told him, he dipped his head and kissed my neck.

He lead me over to the bed where he lifted his shirt over my head, every night he gives me his shirt to sleep in. I know he's seen girls bodies before, I cover my body from him. He grabbed my wrists and pushed, my wrists to my side.

"Don't ever cover up from me" he said and looked me in the eyes.

"I know, it's just" he cut me off when I begun to explain

"I mean it Athena, you don't need to cover up. I love you" he kissed my collarbone "I love everything about you" he kissed the top of my right breast "I love your scars" he kissed the top of my scars on my tummy.

Kayden rolls off the bed and hands me a box once I sit up, I open the box to reveal a beautiful black cocktail dress it had all types of blues on the top of the dress in little square patterns. Kayden told me that he was taking me out to dinner and to be ready at 6:30pm because we have reservations at 7pm.

I played around with Judge, I've been training him for what seemed like hours. I filled up his water bowl and his food bowl, I washed my hands and I went to Whitney's room. "Hey, wanna help me get ready?" I asked her, she nodded and followed me to my room. I showered and put some panties on and a bra, I put my robe on over those and watched a movie while Whitney done my hair.

She parted my hair in the middle of my head, she used hot rollers on my hair making sure they were rolled away from my face. We both finished watching the movie while my hair cooled, once the rollers had cooled down she took them out of my hair and brushed the curls out so they weren't so tight.

Over the seven month and half that I've been here, I've learnt how to do my own makeup. I applied a primer and then my foundation, I made sure to use some concealer since I was starting to break out. I added some powder, then bronzer to my jaw, my cheek bones and my temples. I didn't bother with eyeshadow, I applied a thick line of gel liner to my top of my eyelids and then some on my waterline, I added the last touch to my eyes with mascara. I filled my eyebrows in and then applied so lip gloss.

"Help me with my dress?" I asked Whitney "you look stunning" she told with a smile on her face, I smiled at her and hugged her and said thank you. I slid my feet into my open toe heels, I grabbed my black clutch and put my phone and some things in my clutch to touch up my makeup.

"You look great sis" Jeremy said to me, I hugged him and thanked him for everything. He kissed the top of my head, he stood behind his mate and wrapped his arms around Whitney.

I met Kayden outside, he dressed in dark blue denim jeans with a black v neck top, his scent hit my nose and I grinned at him. He smelled amazing, I'm so glad I remembered to spray deodorant and perfume and brush my teeth before I came to meet Kayden, oh god I'm rambling in my own head.

After we ate at the restaurant, Kayden took me for a walk along the beach front. Tonight was one of the best nights of my life, I got to spend the day with my family and I got to go out to dinner with my amazing boyfriend. When we pulled up to the house, everything was quiet which made me think that Jeremy and Whitney went out for the night. I grabbed Kaydens hand and we walked up to the front of the house, when I opened the door everyone from the pack yelled surprise and I cussed in shock which made then all laugh.

"Happy Birthday Athena!" Everyone yelled, tears welled up in my eyes "thank you all so much" I said and wiped my tears away, I couldn't believe everyone done this for me. "You three!" I said to Kayden, Jeremy and Whitney whom all stood there with stupid looks on their faces.

"Thank you so much" I said with a smile on my face, these three idiots done this me. I grabbed a drink from the kitchen bench from behind Kayden, he held his drink up to me to say 'cheers' I winked at him and took a sip, this wasn't cola this was bourbon. I ignored the strange taste and continued drinking, I danced with Kayden most the night, the party started to die down, i tublmbed upstairs with kayden behind me, and i cloapsed on the bed.

"Best birthday ever" I mumbled before falling asleep.
