Jeremy's POV

I'm so proud of my little sister, she's come so far in life and now she's working for one of the best firms in the country.

Athena went from being this broken girl to this beautiful blossomed flower, she's stronger then most people who have gone through what she went through.

I'm also glad that my best friend is her mate, I know Kayden loves her and he'll risk anything just for her.

I wish I had grown up with Athena, I would have been able to protect her from our very fucked up father.

I've seen many deaths in my life, but never in my life would I have imagined that I would help my little sister kill our father.

I know how this sounds, it's sounds like we're a fucked up family but what can you tell the police when they ask why there's a dead man with a stake in his heart 'oh it's okay, he was a vampire' no it just doesn't work that well.

Our supernatural kind doesn't mix with humans, it is against the supernatural law that we as werewolves and vampire are not to mix with humans.

Telling from what Athena has said about our father, he wasn't always a vampire and the way he moved father then the others it means he was a new born vampire.

"What are you thinking about?" Whitney asked snapping me out of my thoughts, I hadn't realised that was so deep in my thoughts. I look over my beautiful mate, the mother of my child.

She stood by the door rocking baby Athena back and fourth, baby Athena has similar features that her mum does; she was a mixture of Whitney and I.

"About my sister and how far she's come," I tell her, I scoot passed her to see where Adam is. I lean over the cot to see him fast asleep, I smile down at him.

"Your sister, is the strongest person I know" Whitney says and joins me by my side, she leans over and places baby Athena into the cot near her brother.

After Whitney places baby Athena into the cot, I wrapped my arms around her waist. She cuddled into me.

"I was thinking that Kayden and Athena could have the twins tonight, so we can have spend the night together" I told her, she looks up at me and smiles

"I think it'll be great, just one night because I can't go a day without them" She tells me, I peck her lips and she pulls away.

She turns the kids night light on, we leave the door open but turns the lights out.

The next day passed very quickly, every time I looked at the ticking clock on the wall I became more and more nervous every time.

When Whitney and I were ready, we dropped the twins off at my sisters house for the night so Whitney and I could go out to dinner.

Tonight is a pretty special night, Whitney has no idea what I've got planned for her.

I've got one of her favourite restaurant to set up a table on the beach with candles and lanterns with rose petals, the drive was quite as we listened to the radio.

"This is beautiful" Whitney gasps when she see's what I've set up for us, little does she know that I've got a surprise for us.

I pull her seat out for her, she sits and I push her in.

"This is amazing" she gushes, I smile at her and pop the wine open.

She squeals at the noise making me laugh, I pour us some wine and the young girl that will waitressing us placed our food in front of us.

For Whitney is was chicken fettuccine and for myself it was a surf and turf, we chattered back and fourth during dinner.

I had also gotten some people from our pack to set up another spot, it had very large cushions setting up with candles on it.

We walked down the beach holding hands, my stomach churned nervously.

"I love you babe" Whitney told me, she placed her arms around my neck.

I pecked her lips, I got down on one knee and her eyes went wide with shock.

"Whitney Smith, the love of my life, the mother of my children. I love you with my life, I trust you one hundred and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.

Ever since I was young, I liked you and I was ecstatic when I found out you were my mate.

Will you, Whitney Smith marry me?" I poured my heart out to her, I opened the box to revile a diamond ring.

Tears streaming down her beautiful face, her hands trembling in front of her mouth.

I waited nervously for her answer, she closed her eyes and nodded.

"Yes, yes I'll marry you!" She exclaimed, I slide the ring onto her ring finger and I pushed my lips against her.

We shared a very passionate kiss, I pulled away.
