"Its really easy once you get the hang of it, I promise." Connor assures as he ties the laces on your skates for you since he insisted. He really wanted to go skating with you since it was that time of year which brought you to an ice rink. You were weary about it, but complied since he played hockey growing up and could teach you how to skate.

You awkwardly hobbled over to the ice, trying not to fall before you even get there. Connor walked on the ice and as soon as he did, he landed flat on his ass. You wanted to laugh like the three preteens who were passing by did but you knew you'd only do the same once you got on the ice due to karma.

"You're supposed to be the one who's good at this." You say, helping him up while trying not to fall yourself. Once he was standing, he helped you onto the ice and thankfully, you didn't fall.

"Yeah, about that..." He trails off and you look over at him wide eyed. "Oh, you little-"

"Hey! I did grow up playing hockey, I just wasn't that good... That's why I joined the drama club I'm the first place." He said shrugging.

You were weary once again, but he smiled softly at you and you sighed. "Okay, Obi-Wan, teach me everything you know." You say.

After a few pointers from him, he held your hands and pulled you along the ice. You wobbled slightly, but thanks to him you didn't fall.

"You're better at this than I am." He praises and you laugh slightly. "Well I haven't fallen like some people here." You say, teasing him.

"I wasn't falling because I'm bad at skating, I was falling for you." He says and you look up at him to see that stupid little smirk. "Smooth." You say, attempting to cover up your blush.

Once you had got the hang of it, Connor skated beside you rather than in front. You were both holding hands like all the other couples there and the preteens who once laughed at Connor were making faces at the both of you when you kissed.

Connor, being Connor, stuck his tongue out at them. The three girls who looked offended skated past you two, making sure to glare at Connor. You hit his chest softly, "They're like 13, Connor. Relax." You say when he glares back.

"Yeah, 13 and irritating." He says and you laugh slightly. "I'm sure you were just as annoying as they were when you were that age." You say.

"No, I was riding horses in Australia and singing about how I couldn't outfox a fox." And with that, you laughed so hard the passerby's looked at you weird.

"Why did I say that, you're not going to let it go for the next week." He groans as you laugh harder. "Probably until next month." You say when you calm down.

As it got later, you both decided it was time to go. Your nose was red and slightly runny at this time and Connor had extremely rosy cheeks, both of you just wanted some hot chocolate at this point.

After returning the skates, you both were walking hand in hand downtown and decided to go inside a coffee shop you passed.

Once you got in, the warm air stung your face slightly. There wasn't anyone in line thankfully, and you both ordered a hot chocolate.

"We're gonna need to come here more often." Connor states and you nod in agreement. The hot chocolate tasted as if it was made with love and by the smile of the Barista's face, it was made with love.

You and him made small talk, and he mentioned American Crime which caught your attention the most.

"I've never been to Texas, what was Austin like?" You asked after he mentioned it was filmed there.

"Hot." He starts and you laugh slightly. "The Mexican food there is great and so are the people, it actually wasn't bad. I thought being Canadian and all, I'd hate it but it was quite the opposite." He says and you nod understandingly.

He had trailed off into a random story about him and his roommate and all you could do is sit there and wonder how you pulled an amazing guy like him.

okay so i wrote that whole thing while making a very cutesy/high voice in my head so its nice and fluffy....which is strange now that i think about it because i was listening to slipknot while writing.

this was requested by a beautiful human, i hope i did well and pleaaaaaasssseeee keep those requests coming in, i don't care what you request or if you have already requested something, KEEP IT COMING.

request = happy author = happy imagine.

if I haven't done your imagine yet, I'm probably still writing it...

also, if you want to, request a blurb. I've been wanting to do some but I haven't had ideas for them so yeah...

((i lowkey cried during american crime, partially because taylor but mainly because connor never tweeted me back that sweet little shit))

i didnt really edit this so sorry but its currently 4:45am here in texas, I was born/grew up in Austin and I'm still mad that my mom never drove me down there like I only wanted a hug and to squish those cheeks.

if you ever do go to texas for whatever reason, the mexican food is like authentic everywhere, not that taco bell nonsense and yeah... bye.

((does anyone like the new cover? I was thinking about changing it idek I made it out of boredom.))
